Yemen Arab Republic
The Yemen Arab Republic, also known as North Yemen or Yemen (Sana'a), was a country from 1962 to 1990 in the northwestern part of what is now Yemen. Its capital was at Sana'a. It united with the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen, commonly known as South Yemen, on May 22, 1990, to form the current Republic of Yemen.
North Yemen
North Yemen designates Yemen Arab Republic (1962–1990), its predecessor, the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen (1918–1962), and their predecessors that exercised sovereignty over the territory that is now the north-western part of the state of Yemen in southern Arabia. Neither state ever self-designated as "North Yemen" and the term only came into general use when the Federation of South Arabia gained independence as the People's Republic of Yemen in 1967 making such a distinction necessary.
Sana'a Governorate
Sana'a is a governorate of Yemen. Its capital is Sana'a, which is also the national capital. However, the city of Sana'a is not part of the Governorate but instead forms the separate district of Amanat Al-Asemah. The Governorate covers an area of 13,850 km². As of 2004, the population was 918,379 inhabitants.

Central Bank of Yemen
The Central Bank of Yemen is the central bank of Yemen. The Bank is engaged in developing policies to promote financial inclusion and is a member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. The Central Bank of North Yemen was established in 1971 and the Central Bank of South Yemen in 1972. When the northern and southern sectors of Yemen reunited on 22 May 1990, the Central Bank of Yemen (of the north) merged with the Bank of Yemen (of the south) under the original name of “Central Bank of Yemen”.

Hadda, also Haddah or Hadah, is a southwestern neighborhood of Sana'a, Yemen. It contains landmarks such as the Lebanese International University (Yemen), Hadda Park, Lebanon Heart Hospital, Aljabowbi Castle, the Japanese Embassy, Hadda Mineral Water Factory, Shohada Al Sabeen School and Hadda Valley School. The area to the very west on the absolute limits of Sana'a is known as the Hadda Valley.

Shohada Al Sabeen School is a school located in the Hadda neighborhood of the southern outskirts of Sana'a, Yemen, located immediately north of Hadda Park. It is noted for its summer camp.

Al-Om Children's Hospital is a hospital in Sana'a, Yemen. It is located southwest of the Revolution Hospital and northeast of the Al Sabeen Maternal Hospital, near a flyover, east of Alansar Mosque.
Tahrir Square, Sana'a
Al-Tahrir Square, also Al-Tahreer Square or Tahreer Square is a square in central Sana'a, Yemen. It is located west of the Abbas Mosque and the Sultan Palace Hotel, south of the National Museum of Yemen and north of the Yemen Military Museum. Protests took place here during the 2011 Yemeni uprising. Tawakel Karman, awarded the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize, made her headquarters a tent pitched at the Square, where she has led weekly Tuesday protests since 2007.

It has a wide range of artifacts from ancient artifacts to items during the British occupation and subsequent revolution.

The National Library of Yemen is the national library of Yemen. located in central Sana'a, It is located near the Al-Tahrir Square and the Yemen Military Museum. It has an extensive collection of books in French and in English about Yemen.

Founded on 11 April 2004 under the permission of the Ministry of Culture, it is "a cultural, research, non-profit and non-governmental organization works on collecting and documenting the Yemeni Folklore".
