Estadio Centenario
Estadio Centenario is a stadium in Parque Batlle, Montevideo, Uruguay, used primarily for football. The stadium was built between 1929 and 1930 to host the 1930 FIFA World Cup, as well as to commemorate the centennial of Uruguay's first constitution. It is listed by FIFA as one of the football world's classic stadiums, along with the likes of Maracanã, Wembley Stadium, San Siro, Estadio Azteca, and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Estadio Pocitos
Estadio Pocitos was a multi-use stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay, that does not exist today. This stadium was mainly used for football matches of the owner club Peñarol from 1921 to 1933. Later it was demolished in the 30s decade because Peñarol started to play in the Estadio Centenario as its home field, and besides that, due to the increase of the urban part of the city that literally ate the field. The first FIFA World Cup goal was scored in this stadium by the French player Laurent.
Estadio Gran Parque Central
The Estadio Gran Parque Central, usually just Parque Central, is the stadium of Club Nacional de Football. It is located in Montevideo, Uruguay, near Nacional headquarters (exactly between the streets Carlos Anaya, Jaime Cibils, General Urquiza and Comandante Braga), in the La Blanqueada neighbourhood. In this stadium, Nacional plays most of its home games.
Estadio Contador Damiani
Estadio Contador Damiani, formerly Las Acacias, is a football stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay, inaugurated in 1916 and re-built in 1997. It is used mostly for Peñarol's reserves matches. The stadium can hold up to 12,000 people. VIP stands and the entrance were taken in 1930 to the stadium Estadio Pocitos, where the first ever goal in World Cup history was scored by the French forward Lucien Laurent. The structure has since been returned to its original location.

Liberty Building (Montevideo)
Liberty Building served as one of two executive office buildings of the President of Uruguay (the Estévez Palace being the other). It was built in the 1970s during the military government for the Ministry of Defense, but in 1985, president Julio María Sanguinetti decided to move the presidential office to that building. Its surrounding area was turned into a park with a permanent exhibit of modern sculptures, which was inaugurated in 1996.
Obelisk of Montevideo
The Obelisk of Montevideo, officially listed as the Obelisco a los Constituyentes de 1830, is a monument, work of the sculptor José Luis Zorrilla de San Martín (1891-1975). It is a three sided obelisk made of granite, 40 metres tall with 3 bronze statues on its sides, representing "Law", "Liberty" and "Force". It has a hexagonal water fountain around it with six spheres on its outer circumference.
Cilindro Municipal
Cilindro Municipal (The Municipal Cylinder) was an Indoor arena in Montevideo, Uruguay. It was opened in 1956 for Industrial Exhibition of the Production of international character. On October 21, 2010, its roof fell down atop the inside structure because of a fire, the source of which is unknown, severely damaging the seats. Interior Ministry Eduardo Bonomi confirmed it will be demolished.
Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas
Hipódromo Nacional de Maroñas is a horse racing track located in Ituzaingó neighbourhood, in Montevideo, Uruguay. It has a 2,065 metres main dirt track and a dirt 2,000 metres training track. It has a seating capacity of 2,426 people and can accommodate approximately 5,500 standing. It has a parking with room for approximately 697 cars. The racetrack was closed between 1997 and 2003, when it was re-opened by a private consortium, Maroñas Entertainment.

Museo de la Casa de Luis Alberto de Herrera is a museum in the Brazo Oriental barrio of Montevideo, Uruguay. The street in which the house is situated, somewhat set back from the road, is now known as Avenida Dr. Luis Alberto de Herrera (previously Avenida Larrañaga). It is surrounded by a park designed by landscape architect Charles Racine.

Hospital de Clínicas "Dr. Manuel Quintela" is a hospital in the Parque Batlle area of Montevideo, Uruguay. It belongs to the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Republic. It functions as a general hospital, and is a general reference institution. The building was designed by architect Carlos Surraco in 1928–1929. The Hospital was inaugurated on 21 September 1953. For many years it was led by Dr. Hugo Villar, who was a considerable influence on the institution.
Reus al Norte
Reus al Norte is a historic barrio (neighbourhood or district) in Villa Muñoz, Montevideo, Uruguay. It was planned and constructed by Emillio Reus as a habitational alternative during the urban expansion of Montevideo in the end of the 19th century. Its design achieved an ideal relation between public and private space. The neighbourhood stands out for its modernist architecture and colourful houses and has become one of the famous sights of Montevideo.

Hospital Pereira Rossell is a hospital in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is located in the barrio of Parque Batlle, just west of the park of the same name. It was founded in 1908 and was built on land donated in late 1900 by Alexis Rossell y Rius and Dolores Pereira de Rossell. It was the first paediatric hospital, and shortly afterwards the first maternity hospital when they installed obstetric and gynaecological clinic in 1915. The British Hospital or Hospital Británico is a private hospital in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is located in the barrio of Parque Batlle, just west of the park of the same name. It was first established by the British in the Ciudad Vieja under the name Hospital Extranjero (Foreign Hospital) in 1857. It moved to its actual location under the current name in 1913. For more than 40 years it offers a private health insurance to its members called "British Hospital Scheme".

Hospital Vilardebó is the only psychiatric hospital in Reducto, Montevideo, Uruguay. It opened on 21 May 1880, named after the physician and naturalist Teodoro Vilardebó Matuliche. The hospital was originally one the best of Latin America and in 1915 grew to 1500 hospital inpatients. Today the hospital is very deteriorated, with broken walls and floors, lack of medicines, beds, and rooms for the personnel.

The Italian Hospital of Montevideo, whose official name is Ospedale italiano Umberto I, (Spanish: Hospital Italiano de Montevideo) is a clinic and sanatorium founded in 1890 near Parque Batlle, Montevideo. Avenida 8 de Octubre, or 8 de Octubre Avenue, is one of the main avenues of Montevideo, Uruguay. It starts at Tres Cruces at the intersection with 18 de Julio Avenue, passes under Artigas Boulevard through the homonymous tunnel, runs for about 5.6 kilometers northeast and turns into Camino Maldonado (Ruta 8) at the point where Avenida José Belloni splits off towards the north.
