Maple Bluff, Wisconsin
Maple Bluff is a village in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,313 at the 2010 census. It is a suburb of Madison and is part of the Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area. Maple Bluff is most well known as the site of Wisconsin Governor's Mansion. The Executive Mansion is the residence of the Governor of Wisconsin, and his family. The Robert M. LaFollette House is also in Maple Bluff.

Lake Mendota
Lake Mendota is the northernmost and largest of the four lakes near Madison, Wisconsin. The lake borders Madison on the north, east and south, Middleton on the west, Shorewood Hills on the southwest, Maple Bluff on the northeast, and Westport on the northwest. The shorelines of Lakes Mendota and Monona define the isthmus upon which Madison was built, with the lakes connected by the Yahara River.

Smart Studios
Smart Studios was a recording studio located at 1254 E Washington Ave in Madison, Wisconsin. It was set up in 1983 by Butch Vig and Steve Marker to produce local bands. The studio became famous for producing artists such as Killdozer and Sub Pop artists Tad and eventually Nirvana. In fact, the version of their song "Polly" that appears on their album Nevermind was recorded there. The Smashing Pumpkins' debut album, Gish, was also recorded at Smart Studios.
Warner Park
Warner Park is a community park on the northeast side of Madison, Wisconsin near Lake Mendota. It is the annual home for the largest fireworks show in the Midwest, Rhythm and Booms. Warner Park is also the home to the Madison Mallards baseball team, a member of the Northwoods League. Its stadium, nicknamed the "Duck Pond", was built in 1982 and has a capacity of 7500. It also hosts the Madison LaFollette High School baseball team.

It is the only non-religious private high school in Dane County, and has an enrollment of around 275 students. Bascom Hill
Bascom Hill is the main quadrangle that forms the symbolic core of the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus. It is located on the opposite end of State Street from the Wisconsin State Capitol, and is named after John Bascom, former president of the University of Wisconsin. The hill itself is a drumlin, formed by glacial deposits about 18,000 years ago. The hill is crowned by Bascom Hall, the main administration building for the campus.
Breese Stevens Field
Breese Stevens Field is the oldest playing field in Madison, Wisconsin, located northeast of the Wisconsin State Capitol. Until the mid-1960s, this was the only city park with lights. Almost all major outdoor athletic events took place here, including all Madison high school football games. In the 1940s, the field was home to the minor league baseball team Madison Blues of the Triple-I League.

The Executive Residence, known better as the Governor's Mansion, is located at 99 Cambridge Road in the Village of Maple Bluff, Wisconsin, on the eastern shore of Lake Mendota. It is only one of four official state governor's residences in the country that is not located within its state's capital. Construction was started during 1920 for Madison industrialist Carl A. Dane County Farmers' Market
The Dane County Farmers' Market is America's largest producers-only farmers' market and is held on Saturday mornings in Madison, Wisconsin. From April to November, it is held from 6 am to 2 pm on the Capitol Square, as well as on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 am to 2 pm on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. From November to December, it is held indoors at the Monona Terrace, and from January to April, it is held at the Madison Senior Center.

Churchill Building
The Churchill Building, also known as the Gay Building, is a nine-story, 134-foot-tall high-rise building located at 16 North Carroll Street in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed in 1915, it was Madison's first skyscraper. It was the second-tallest building in Wisconsin at the time, after Milwaukee's City Hall, and remained so until 1917 when the Wisconsin State Capitol was completed. The building, like many others built in Madison during the early 1900s, was designed in the Beaux-Arts style.
2011 Wisconsin protests
The 2011 Wisconsin protests were a series of demonstrations in the state of Wisconsin in the United States beginning in February involving at its zenith as many as 100,000 protestors opposing the 2011 Wisconsin Act 10, also called the "Wisconsin budget repair bill. " Subsequently, anti-tax activists and other conservatives, including tea party advocates, launched small pockets of counter protests.
Wisconsin (statue)
Wisconsin on top of the Wisconsin Capitol Building created by Daniel Chester French. The Wisconsin statue on the dome was sculpted during 1920 by Daniel Chester French of New York. Initially the statue of Wisconsin on the top of the dome was promised to Helen Farnsworth Mears but when Daniel Chester French agreed to produce the finial figure, the commission was switched to him.
