Dane County, Wisconsin

Dane County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The county seat is Madison, which is also the state capital. The second most populous county in Wisconsin, Dane County had a population of 488,073 at the 2010 census. It is part of the U.S. Census Bureau's Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area, which also includes neighboring Iowa and Columbia counties. Dane County has more than 60 cities, towns, and villages.

Camp Randall Stadium

Camp Randall Stadium is an outdoor stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. It has been the home of the Wisconsin Badgers football team in rudimentary form since 1895, and as a complete stadium since 1917. It is located in the south-central region of the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus. The stadium seats 80,321. It is the oldest and fifth largest stadium in the Big Ten Conference, and the 41st largest stadium in the world.

Kohl Center

The Kohl Center is an arena and athletic center at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, United States. The building, which opened in 1998, is the home of the university's men's basketball and ice hockey teams, and the women's basketball team. It also housed the university's women's ice hockey team through 2011, after which they moved into the adjacent LaBahn Arena. Seating capacity is variable, as the center can be rearranged to accommodate a basketball court, a hockey rink, or a concert.

Lake Wingra

Lake Wingra is a small lake located inside the city limits of the U.S. city of Madison, Wisconsin. The smallest of the five major lakes drained by the Yahara River in Dane County, Lake Wingra is bordered by the University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum on the south and west and the City of Madison on the remaining shoreline. Saint Raphael's Cathedral (Madison, Wisconsin)

Memorial Union (Wisconsin)

The Memorial Union, known locally as simply "the Union", is located on the shore of Lake Mendota on the campus of the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. On the lakeshore to the north of the building is the Terrace, a highly popular outdoor space. The west wing of the Union houses the Wisconsin Union Theater. The exterior of the main wing was designed by University Architect Arthur Peabody. It opened in 1928, and is run by the Wisconsin Union, a membership organization.

Wisconsin Field House

Bascom Hill

Bascom Hill is the main quadrangle that forms the symbolic core of the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus. It is located on the opposite end of State Street from the Wisconsin State Capitol, and is named after John Bascom, former president of the University of Wisconsin. The hill itself is a drumlin, formed by glacial deposits about 18,000 years ago. The hill is crowned by Bascom Hall, the main administration building for the campus.
