Situated along the banks of the Monongahela River, Morgantown is the largest city in North-Central West Virginia, and the base of the Morgantown metropolitan area. Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium (more commonly known as Mountaineer Field) is the football stadium for the West Virginia Mountaineers NCAA Division I FBS football team. The seating area of the facility was renamed "Milan Puskar Stadium" in 2004 after a $20 million donation to the university by Morgantown resident and founder of Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The Morgantown Personal Rapid Transit (WVU PRT) system is a one-of-a-kind people mover system in Morgantown, West Virginia, United States. The system connects the three Morgantown campuses of West Virginia University (WVU), as well as the downtown area. Originally developed as the Alden staRRcar, the Morgantown system was built, starting in 1970, by a consortium led by Boeing Vertol as a government-funded experiment in personal rapid transit (PRT) systems.
WVU Coliseum
The WVU Coliseum is a 14,000-seat multi-purpose arena which is located in the Evansdale campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. The circular arena features a poured concrete roof. The arena, which opened in 1970, is home to the WVU Mountaineers men's and women's basketball teams, men's wrestling, as well as WVU's women's teams in volleyball and gymnastics.
Boreman Hall
Boreman Hall is a residence hall on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Originally called Men's Hall when it was constructed in 1935, the hall is named after Arthur I. Boreman, the first governor of the state of West Virginia. With the addition of a new annex building in 1963, Boreman Hall is now actually two separate buildings. Boreman Hall North, the newer of the two, is currently an all female dorm, the only single sex residence hall on the campus.
Mountainlair
The Mountainlair, commonly called "the Lair" by students, is the three-floor student union building at West Virginia University. The current building dates to 1968 and replaced an earlier structure built in 1948. The Mountainlair is also the site of American sculptor Donald De Lue's 1971 statue The Mountaineer, a bronze representation of West Virginia University's Mountaineer mascot.
Stansbury Hall (West Virginia University)
Stansbury Hall, named after Harry Stansbury (died 1966), former WVU Athletic Director http://www. wvu. edu/~sports/hall_fame/harry_stansbury. htm, is a building on the Downtown Campus of West Virginia University. Opened in 1929 as the WVU Field House, just to the southwest of "Old" Mountaineer Field, this was the home of WVU basketball until 1970, when the WVU Coliseum was opened. This was the home floor during the days of Hot Rod Hundley and Jerry West.

Mountaineer Field (1924)
Mountaineer Field, known as the "Jewel of the Mountains", was a football stadium located in downtown Morgantown, West Virginia. It was the home of the West Virginia Mountaineers football team. The stadium, which cost approximately $740,000 to build, was located down the hill from Woodburn Hall, and bordered by Campus Drive to the north, University Avenue to the east, Woodburn and Chitwood Halls to the south, and eventually Beechurst Avenue on the west.
Morgantown High School
Morgantown High School is a high school located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The institution has existed since 1883 while operating on its current campus since 1927. Students largely come from one of the three feeder schools, South Middle School, Suncrest Middle School and St. Francis de sales central catholic.
Star City Bridge
The Edith B. Barill Bridge, more commonly known as the Star City Bridge, was completed in 2004 and connects Star City, West Virginia with Interstate 79 and western Monongalia County. The bridge serves as a primary means of access to the north side of Morgantown. The former Star City Bridge was built in 1950. In 2002, that bridge was demolished and replaced by the current five-lane bridge that was completed in 2004.

Morgantown Lock and Dam
Morgantown Lock and Dam is a navigational lock and gated dam on the Monongahela River at Morgantown, West Virginia. It is part of a series of dams that canalizes the Monongahela to a depth of at least 9 feet for its entire length from Fairmont, West Virginia to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Pittsburgh District. Morgantown has a single lock chamber located on the left-descending river bank.
Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium
Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium is a 1,600-capacity soccer specific stadium located in Morgantown, West Virginia where it serves as the home field for the West Virginia Mountaineers men's and women's soccer teams. Originally called the Mountaineer Soccer Complex, the stadium was completed in August 2004 and is named in honor of University benefactor Dick Dlesk.

Hawley Field
Hawley Field is a baseball field in Morgantown, West Virginia, United States. Along with Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, West Virginia, it is one of two home venues of the West Virginia Mountaineers baseball team. The stadium holds 1,500 spectators. Hawley Field hosted the 1985 Atlantic 10 Conference Baseball Tournament, which the Mountaineers won on their home field. Prior to the 2013 season, the facility's infield was resodded.

It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. FCI Morgantown is located in the city of Morgantown in northern West Virginia and approximately 160 miles northeast of Charleston, the state capital.
