Morgantown, West Virginia
Morgantown is a city in Monongalia County, West Virginia. It is the county seat of Monongalia County. Situated along the banks of the Monongahela River, Morgantown is the largest city in North-Central West Virginia, and the base of the Morgantown metropolitan area. It has a permanent population of 29,660 per the 2010 census, with West Virginia University adding several thousand seasonal residents to the city and surrounding area from September through May.
West Virginia University
West Virginia University (WVU) is a public land grant research university in Morgantown, West Virginia. Its other campuses include the West Virginia University Institute of Technology in Montgomery and Potomac State College of West Virginia University in Keyser; and a second clinical campus for the University's medical and dental schools at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston. WVU Extension Service provides outreach with offices in all of West Virginia's 55 counties.
Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium
Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium (more commonly known as Mountaineer Field) is the football stadium for the West Virginia Mountaineers NCAA Division I FBS football team. The stadium is located in Morgantown, West Virginia, on the health sciences campus of West Virginia University. The seating area of the facility was renamed "Milan Puskar Stadium" in 2004 after a $20 million donation to the university by Morgantown resident and founder of Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Milan Puskar.
Boreman Hall
Boreman Hall is a residence hall on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Originally called Men's Hall when it was constructed in 1935, the hall is named after Arthur I. Boreman, the first governor of the state of West Virginia. With the addition of a new annex building in 1963, Boreman Hall is now actually two separate buildings. Boreman Hall North, the newer of the two, is currently an all female dorm, the only single sex residence hall on the campus.
Mountainlair
The Mountainlair, commonly called "the Lair" by students, is the three-floor student union building at West Virginia University. The current building dates to 1968 and replaced an earlier structure built in 1948. The Mountainlair is also the site of American sculptor Donald De Lue's 1971 statue The Mountaineer, a bronze representation of West Virginia University's Mountaineer mascot.
Mountaineer Field (1924)
Mountaineer Field, known as the "Jewel of the Mountains", was a football stadium located in downtown Morgantown, West Virginia. It was the home of the West Virginia Mountaineers football team. The stadium, which cost approximately $740,000 to build, was located down the hill from Woodburn Hall, and bordered by Campus Drive to the north, University Avenue to the east, Woodburn and Chitwood Halls to the south, and eventually Beechurst Avenue on the west.

WWVU-FM (a.k.a. The Moose) is a student run college radio station serving Morgantown, West Virginia and greater Monongalia County, WV. It is owned by West Virginia University. Main offices are located at the WVU Mountainlair, on the Downtown Campus. Its transmitter is located around University High School (Morgantown). U92 was nominated for Station Of The Year by the College Music Journal.

Monongalia General Hospital (Mon General) is a 189-bed acute-care community hospital and Level IV West Virginia Trauma Center located in Morgantown, West Virginia. It is part of Monongalia Health System, an "integrated health care delivery system" that provides a full range of family centered care to residents of north-central West Virginia and southwestern Pennsylvania.
