Bellingham, Washington
Bellingham is the largest city in, and the county seat of, Whatcom County in the U.S. state of Washington. It is the twelfth-largest city in the state, with 80,885 residents at the 2010 Census, or fifth-largest by metropolitan area after Seattle-Tacoma, Portland-Vancouver, Spokane-Coeur d'Alene, and Yakima-Tri-Cities. The boundaries of the city encompass the former towns of Fairhaven, Whatcom, Sehome, and Bellingham.

Flatiron Building (Bellingham, Washington)
The Hamilton Building also known as The Flatiron Building of Bellingham was the first "skyscraper" in Bellingham. Built in 1908 for Talifero Simpson Hamilton's growing Bellingham Bay (B.B. ) Furniture Company established in 1889, the building cost $100,000 and used thirty-five thousand barrels of cement along with 200,000 pounds of steel. Due to its triangular shape and resemblance to the Fuller Building in New York, the building instantly garnered the flatiron nickname.
Whatcom Middle School
Whatcom Middle School, home of the Wildcats, is a middle school located in Bellingham, WA. With enrollment of 606 students in 2006-2007, it was the largest of four middle schools in the Bellingham School District. It was also the oldest existing school building in the Bellingham School District. On November 5, 2009, a fire broke out and caused irreparable damage to the school building.
Aftermath Clubhouse
The Aftermath Clubhouse is a two story, wood-frame Italian Villa building which was originally constructed in 1904. It is estimated to be the first women's clubhouse in the state of Washington.

The Mount Bakery
The Mount Bakery is a café in Bellingham, Washington's Arts District at 308c West Champion Street. The restaurant was a pioneer in the area's Slow Food Movement. The café is well known for its devotion to the sport of bicycling, featuring bicycle-themed art, clothing and its annual live screening of the Tour de France which draws crowds of cycling enthusiasts each year to eat breakfast and watch the event unfold in the early hours of the morning.
Whatcom Creek
Whatcom Creek is a waterway in Bellingham, Washington, United States. Approximately 4 miles long, it drains Lake Whatcom through Whatcom Falls Park and through the city of Bellingham to Bellingham Bay. It starts at the dam near the fish hatchery in Whatcom Falls Park where the creek goes over many falls, (hence the name) from about 350 feet to about 80 feet above sea level.
