Olympia, Washington
Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of Thurston County. It was incorporated on January 28, 1859. The population was 46,478 at the 2010 census. Olympia is a major cultural center of the Puget Sound region.
Washington Supreme Court
The Washington Supreme Court is the highest court in the judiciary of the US state of Washington. The Court is composed of a Chief Justice and eight Justices. Members of the Court are elected to six-year terms. Justices must retire at the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 75, per the Washington State Constitution.
Capitol Lake
Capitol Lake is a 3 kilometer long, 260-acre artificial lake at the mouth of Deschutes River in Tumwater/Olympia, Washington. The Olympia Brewery sits on Capitol Lake in Tumwater, just downstream from where the Tumwater Falls meet the lake. The Washington State Department of General Administration manages the lake, as part of The Washington State Capitol Campus.

The Washington State Senate is the upper house of the Washington State Legislature. The body consists of 49 senators, each representing a district with a population of nearly 140,000. The State Senate meets at the Legislative Building in Olympia. As with the lower House of Representatives, state senators serve without term limits, though senators serve four-year terms.
Capitol Theater (Olympia)
The Capitol Theater, at 206 East Fifth Avenue in downtown Olympia, Washington, was built in 1924. It was designed by architect Joseph Wohleb and has a capacity of 2500. The Olympia Film Society operates the theater. The theater suffered major plaster damage to the ceiling during the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, but has since undergone repair and has re-opened. The marquee, a 1940 addition, was removed in January 2008.

The Washington House of Representatives is the lower house of the Washington State Legislature, the legislature of the US state of Washington. It is composed of 98 Representatives from 49 districts, each of which elects two members. All members of the House are elected to a two-year term without term limits. Old Capitol Building
The Old Capitol Building is a building in Olympia, Washington. Designed by Willis A. Ritchie, it was built 1890–1892 as the Thurston County Courthouse, and served 1905–1928 as the state capitol, seat of the legislature of Washington; in 1928 the legislature moved to the current Capitol Building. It is now the office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The building has survived several disasters, after each of which it has been repaired.
Natural Resource Agencies office building
The Natural Resources Agencies office building was constructed on behalf of the State of Washington and is located within the existing East Capitol Campus Complex in Olympia, Washington. The 777,000-square-foot project consolidated the administrative offices for the three different departments (Fisheries, Agriculture, and Natural Resources) into a 328,000-square-foot building. Also included is a 449,000-square-foot parking garage for 1,360 vehicles.
Hands On Children's Museum
Hands On Children's Museum is a children's museum in Olympia, Washington, USA. It was founded in 1987 and receives over 150,000 visitors a year at its current location near the Washington State Capitol. Visitors are expected to grow to 200,000 a year at a new location under construction for a summer 2012 opening.
