Moran State Park
Moran State Park is a state park on Orcas Island, Washington, encompassing over 5,000 acres of forest (much of it old growth) with some 30 miles of hiking trails. It is the largest public recreation area in the San Juan Islands. The park has facilities for boating, hiking, biking, horse riding, and camping. Mount Constitution (elevation 2,409 feet) is a focal point of the park. The view from the top of Mount Constitution is considered to be one of the world's best panoramic views.

Doe Bay sits on the south-eastern shore of Orcas Island and is home to Doe Bay Resort and Retreat. Doe Bay is about 19.1 miles by road from Orcas Village, about 11 miles by road from Eastsound, and a short 3.6 miles from Olga. Deer Harbor, a community on the opposite side of the island altogether from Doe Bay, is about 20.6 miles by road. It is also very near Moran State Park.
