Bainbridge Island, Washington
Bainbridge Island is a city in Kitsap County, Washington, United States, and the name of the island in Puget Sound on which the city is situated. The population was 23,025 at the 2010 census. In July 2005, CNN/Money and Money magazine named Bainbridge Island the second-best place to live in the United States. The local newspapers are the weekly Bainbridge Island Review and the daily Kitsap Sun.

The post office was renamed The Bud Hawk Post Office on February 26, 2010. Bud Hawk grew-up in Rolling Bay, roaming its woods as a kid, 80 years ago. He became a decorated World War II veteran, earning the Medal of Honor and four Purple Hearts while fighting in Europe as a U.S. Army machine-gunner.
