West Lake Sammamish, Bellevue, Washington
West Lake Sammamish was a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 5,937 at the 2000 census. The census area was annexed by Bellevue in 2001. Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, West Lake Sammamish ranks 15th of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked.
Bellevue Airfield
Bellevue Airfield was a private airfield in Bellevue, Washington that closed in 1983. It was situated east of 156th Avenue SE and north of Interstate 90, almost to Phantom Lake. Today, the area is an office park. When the LDS Seattle Washington Temple was built nearby ca. 1980, the airfield was still in operation and the temple spire included a strobe light.

Cougar Ridge Elementary School

Phantom Lake
Phantom Lake is a small lake inside the city limits of Bellevue, Washington. A 2.6 mile long pedestrian trail circles the lake, and according to Bellevue city government, the city's oldest and largest trees can be seen there. Historically, Phantom Lake once drained to the north through the Kelsey Creek basin. Nineteenth century farmer Henry Thode redirected the Phantom Lake outlet to Lake Sammamish, creating Weowna Creek in the process.
Monohon, Washington
Monohon was a small town located on the east side of Lake Sammamish (then known as Lake Squak), near the present-day intersection of East Lake Sammamish Parkway and SE 33rd Street in the city of Sammamish. The community was originally part of a town named Donnelly, founded by Simon Donelly who built a sawmill there, but then grew big enough and was far enough away from Donelly that they created their own town, Monohon in 1888.

Cougar Mountain Zoo
Cougar Mountain Zoo is a zoological garden located on the north slope of Cougar Mountain, just to the west of Issaquah, Washington. It was founded in 1972 by Peter and Marcie Rittler and covers 8-acre . The zoo is open for general admission Wednesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding the month of December).
