Henry Art Gallery
The Henry Art Gallery ("The Henry") is the art museum of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, USA. Located on the west edge of the university's campus along 15th Avenue N.E. in the University District, it was founded in 1927 and was the first public art museum in the state of Washington. The original building was designed by Bebb and Gould. It was expanded in 1997 to 40,000 square feet, at which time the 154-seat auditorium was added.
Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture
The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture is a natural history museum in Seattle, Washington, in the United States. Founded in 1885, the museum is an official state museum and is located at the University of Washington campus at the intersection of NE 45th Street and 17th Avenue NE in Seattle's University District. It is the only major natural history museum in the Pacific Northwest and the state's oldest museum.
Suzzallo Library
Suzzallo Library is the central library of the University of Washington in Seattle, and perhaps the most recognizable building on campus. It is named for Henry Suzzallo, who was president of the University of Washington until he stepped down in 1926, the same year the first phase of the library's construction was completed. The library was renamed for him after his death in 1933.
Red Square (University of Washington)
Red Square, officially Central Plaza, is a large open square on the campus of the University of Washington that serves as a hub for two of the University's major axes, connecting the campus's northern Liberal Arts Quadrangle ("The Quad") with the science and engineering buildings found on the lower campus. The plaza is paved with red brick, and becomes notoriously slippery during precipitation. During the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, the square was the site for the temporary U.S.

Theodor Jacobsen Observatory
The Theodor Jacobsen Observatory is the on-campus observatory of the University of Washington. Built in 1895, it is the second oldest building on campus and was constructed using the remaining Tenino sandstone blocks from Denny Hall, the oldest and first building on campus. The refracting telescope, enclosed within the dome, has a 6-inch Brashear objective lens on a Warner & Swasey equatorial mount.
Grand Illusion Cinema
The Grand Illusion Cinema is the longest running independent cinema in the city of Seattle, Washington, and has become a landmark of the film community. Opened in 1968 by Randy Findley at 1403 NE 50th St in a converted dentist’s office the cinema became the city’s first arthouse and showcased foreign and revival films.
The Ave
University Way NE, colloquially The Ave, is the commercial heart of the University District and the off-campus extension of the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle. Once "a department store eight blocks long," The Ave has gradually turned into what now resembles an eight-block-long global food court. The story of The Ave reflects the dynamics of many urban neighborhoods and the social and economic problems of countless American cities, though it is also a crossroads of diverse subcultures.
Hansee Hall
Hansee Hall is a building and student dormitory in Seattle, belonging to the University of Washington. Hansee Hall is the oldest residence hall at the University, and was constructed in the 1930s. It took its name in 1961, being named after Martha Lois Hansee. Its internal divisions consist of a narrow corridor attached to four different "Houses", Blaine, Austin, McKee and Leary.
Meany Hall for the Performing Arts
Meany Hall has been the name of two buildings on the University of Washington Campus. The current Meany Hall is considered one of the region’s premier performance facilities, highly acclaimed by artists and audience members a like for its outstanding acoustics and intimate ambiance. Individual performance venues include the 1,206 seat proscenium Meany Theater, and the 238 seat Meany Studio Theatre.
Bobo (gorilla)
Bobo (1951–1968) was a western lowland gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) who was a prominent feature of Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Washington, USA, from 1953 until his death. As a publicly accessible gorilla in the wake of King Kong, Bobo was one of Seattle's most prominent attractions before the construction of the Space Needle and the introduction of professional sports to the city. After his death, Bobo's skin was stuffed and placed on display at Seattle's Museum of History and Industry.
Foster School of Business
The University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business is the business school at the University of Washington, Seattle. It was founded in 1917 and is the second oldest institution of management education on the West Coast. The school has nearly 46,000 alumni, and is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). The School is one of four U.S. business schools to earn the EQUIS.

U District (Link station)
U District Station (formerly known by the temporary working name Brooklyn Station) will be an underground Sound Transit North Link light rail station in the University District neighborhood in Seattle. DXARTS
The Center for Digital Arts and Experimental Media, or DXARTS, is a program offering BFA and PhD studies in the New Media art at the University of Washington. It is the only PhD program in New Media arts in the United States. Playhouse Theatre (Seattle)
The Playhouse Theatre (later University of Washington Playhouse Theatre, now officially Floyd and Delores Jones Playhouse) is a theater located at 4045 University Way NE (41st St) on The Ave in the University District, Seattle, Washington. It was converted from a tile warehouse in 1930 by Burton and Florence James, who set up the Seattle Repertory Playhouse with multi-ethnic performers and audiences.

Named after the 19th president of the university, it opened in 1972, replacing the small undergraduate library previously located at Suzzallo Library.
