John Custis

John Custis (August 1678–after 14 November 1749) was a member of the Governor's Council in the British Colony of Virginia. Often he is designated as John Custis IV or John Custis, of Williamsburg, to distinguish him from his grandfather, father, and other relatives of the same name. Kiptopeke State Park

Kiptopeke State Park is a state park located in the southern end of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. From 1949, the site was owned by the Virginia Ferry Corporation and used through 1964 as the northern terminus for the Little Creek-Cape Charles Ferry service. The park has a number of recreational amenities, including yurts which are half tent half cabin.

William B. Trower Bayshore Natural Area Preserve is a Natural Area Preserve located in Northampton County, Virginia. A small preserve with no public facilities, it is located on the Chesapeake Bay, and contains beach strand and dune communities. It supports a population of the northeastern beach tiger beetle, as well as some scrubland and woodland areas. The preserve was named in honor of William Bell Trower, a Northampton County physician and farmer.
