Hybla Valley, Virginia
Hybla Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States south of Alexandria, Virginia. Nearby CDPs include Groveton, Virginia (north), Belle Haven, Fairfax County, Virginia (northeast), Fort Hunt, Virginia (east) and Mount Vernon, Virginia (southwest). The population was 15,801 at the 2010 census, down from 16,721 in 2000 due to a reduction in area, resulting from some of the eastward neighborhoods including much of Hollin Hills being moved to Fort Hunt CDP.
WTNT (AM)
WTNT is a news/talk radio station licensed to Alexandria, Virginia and serving the Washington metro area. It operates with unlimited hours, with 8,000 watts during the daytime, and 25 watts in the evening hours. The station is owned and operated by Metro Radio.
Northern Virginia trolleys
The earliest electric railway, or streetcar line, in Northern Virginia opened in 1892. Huntley Meadows Park, the largest park operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority (1,452 acres), is located in the Hybla Valley area of Fairfax County, Virginia, south of the city of Alexandria. The park features a visitor center, a beaver-created wetland with boardwalk, wildlife observation platforms, and an interpretative trail system. The park is home to abundant wildlife and is known for attracting many birds, amphibians, and plants that are considered less common in the region.
Hollindale, Virginia
Hollindale is an unincorporated community in Fort Hunt, Fairfax County, Virginia, United States close to the George Washington Memorial Parkway in ZIP code 22306. As of 2009, it had 926 residents. Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church and Hollin Meadows Elementary School are located within the community. Hollindale is set along the hilly woodlands across from the Potomac. It was built around several estates and on what used to be Sherwood Dairy Farm, and is adjacent to the Hollin Hills community.
