Battle of Lewis's Farm

The Battle of Lewis's Farm (also known as Quaker Road, Military Road, or Gravelly Road) was fought on March 29, 1865, in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, during the American Civil War. It was the opening of the Appomattox Campaign, in which Confederate General Robert E. Virginia Motorsports Park

Virginia Motorsports Park is a quarter-mile dragstrip in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, just outside Petersburg. It opened in 1994 and hosted the NHRA's Torco Racing Fuels NHRA Nationals. It has a seating capacity of 23,000 spectators. The track turned to NHRA in 2012.
