Ettrick is a census-designated place (CDP) in Chesterfield County, Virginia, United States. The population was 6,682 at the 2010 census. The town is home to Virginia State University and the Petersburg Amtrak train station. Most of Ettrick has a Petersburg mailing address, ZIP code 23803, although the community is not part of the city of Petersburg.

First Baptist Church (Petersburg, Virginia)
First Baptist Church (est. 1774) was the first Baptist church in Petersburg, Virginia; one of the first African-American Baptist congregations in the United States, and one of the oldest black churches in the nation. It established one of the first local schools for black children in the nation. Its congregation was active during the 20th century Civil Rights Movement. Today it has the largest community outreach program in the city.
Union Station (Petersburg)
Petersburg Union Station is an unused train station in Petersburg, Virginia. It was originally built in 1909–1910 for the Norfolk and Western Railway, replacing an earlier structure damaged by a flood. The station remained in use until the formation of Amtrak in 1971, when passenger service on the Norfolk and Western's tracks ended. It saw a brief revival in 1975–1977, when Amtrak operated the Mountaineer between Norfolk and Cincinnati, Ohio.
