USS Norfolk (DL-1)
The second USS Norfolk (DL-1) was the first destroyer leader of the United States Navy. Originally projected as a hunter-killer cruiser, she was in service until 1970.
Midtown Tunnel (Virginia)
The Midtown Tunnel crosses the main channel of the Elizabeth River in the South Hampton Roads area of Virginia where it is one of two tunnels that link the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth. It carries U.S. Highway 58 and operates without tolls.

Eastern Virginia Medical School commonly referred to as EVMS, in Norfolk, Virginia, United States is a public-private medical school founded by grassroots efforts in the southeastern part of Virginia known as Hampton Roads. Unlike the other public medical schools in Virginia, EVMS is not affiliated with an undergraduate institution and coordinates training through multiple medical centers in the Hampton Roads region. The school is dedicated solely to graduate biomedical and health education.
Chrysler Museum of Art
The Chrysler Museum of Art is an art museum in the Ghent district of Norfolk, Virginia. The museum was originally founded in 1933 as the Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences. In 1971, automotive heir, Walter P. Chrysler, Jr. (whose wife, Jean Outland Chrysler, was a native of Norfolk), donated most of his extensive collection to the museum. This single gift significantly expanded the museum's collection, making it one of the major art museums in the Southeastern United States.

The Ghent District includes the various Ghent neighborhoods (Ghent, West Ghent, East Ghent, Ghent Square) in Norfolk, Virginia. Its boundaries are roughly Brambleton Avenue/The Hague on the south, the Elizabeth River on west, Monticello Avenue on the east and the railroad crossing immediately north of 22nd Street. Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters
Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD), located in Norfolk, Virginia, is the only freestanding children's hospital in Virginia and the home to one of the nation's top pediatric residency programs. CHKD has a 212 room hospital and serves the medical and surgical needs of children throughout the greater Hampton Roads metro area, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
Hampton Roads Naval Museum
The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is one of the 12 Navy museums that are operated by the Naval History & Heritage Command. It celebrates the long history of the U.S. Navy in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. It is co-located with the Nauticus National Maritime Center in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. In 2009, the Hampton Roads Naval Museum was accredited by the American Association of Museum Accreditation, the gold standard for museum accreditation.
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital
For the similarly named hospital in Simcoe, Ontario, see Norfolk General Hospital. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a hospital in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia. It is located adjacent to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Sentara Heart Hospital and Eastern Virginia Medical School for which it serves as the teaching hospital. Norfolk General is home to the only Level I Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads.
Wisconsin Square
Wisconsin Square is a small park on Norfolk, Virginia's Elizabeth River waterfront, opposite the berth of the berth of the USS Wisconsin, a museum ship. The park contains memorials to the seamen were lost while serving on United States Navy ships homeported in Norfolk. The Square also contains the ship's bell of USS Norfolk (DL-1) and a copy of The Lone Sailor.
EVMC / Fort Norfolk (Tide station)
EVMC / Fort Norfolk is a station on the Tide Light Rail starter line in Norfolk, Virginia. Fort Norfolk / Medical Center Station is the western terminus of the line. It is situated at the intersection of Brambleton and Colley Avenues, just west of downtown and south of the historic Ghent district.
York Street / Freemason (Tide station)
York Street / Freemason is a light rail station on the Tide Light Rail starter line in Norfolk, Virginia, U.S.A. , which started operation in August 2011. York Street / Freemason is situated at the northern end of downtown Norfolk on York Street between Yarmouth and Dunmore Streets. The station is directly adjacent to the Norfolk YMCA and Belmont at Freemason and is close to the Freemason Historic District and Chrysler Museum of Art.
