Thanksgiving Point

Thanksgiving Point is a 501(c)(3) educational institute and associated museum complex and estate garden in Lehi, Utah. It is funded by contributions, admissions, and profits from its retail operations, and concessions. The current logo is a stylized version of its establishing landmark, a water tower. Like many attractions in Utah, Thanksgiving Point is usually closed on Sundays. Approximately 1.45 million people visit Thanksgiving Point each year.

Camp Williams

Camp W. G. Williams, commonly known as Camp Williams, also known as Army Garrison Camp Williams, is a National Guard training site operated by the Utah National Guard. It is located south of Bluffdale, west of Lehi, and north of Saratoga Springs and Cedar Fort, approximately 25 miles south of Salt Lake City, straddling the border between Salt Lake County and Utah County in the western portion of the Traverse Mountains.

The Utah Data Center, formally known as the Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative Data Center, is a data storage facility being built for the United States National Security Agency and Director of National Intelligence that is designed to be a primary storage resource capable of storing data on the scale of yottabytes. Though its precise mission is secret, its purpose — as the name implies — is to support the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI).

Utah and Salt Lake Canal

The Utah and Salt Lake Canal is an historic waterway in Salt Lake County, Utah. It was financed wholly by Salt Lake County, and construction lasted from 1872 to 1881. It was built "with only basic tools and contracted manual labor. " The settlement that became present-day Riverton, Utah was limited to the Jordan River bottoms until this canal was constructed.

South Jordan Canal

The South Jordan Canal is an historic waterway in Salt Lake County, Utah. It was completed in 1876. The canal took water out of the Jordan River in Bluffdale and for the first time brought it above the river bluffs in what is now South Jordan. As a result of the new canal, most of the families settled among the bluffs moved up away from the river onto the "flats" above the river which they could now irrigate.
