Oquirrh was a census-designated place (CDP) in Salt Lake County, Utah, located on the slopes of the Oquirrh Mountains that gave it its name. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 10,390, a modest increase over the 1990 figure of 7,593. In 2000, Oquirrh was annexed by West Jordan.

Taylorsville, Utah

Taylorsville is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 58,657 at the 2010 census. Taylorsville was incorporated from the Taylorsville-Bennion CDP and portions of the Kearns CDP on April 24, 1996. The city is located adjacent to interstate 215 and Bangerter Highway. It is centrally located in the middle of the Salt Lake Valley.

West Jordan High School

West Jordan High School is a public high school founded in 1981. Located southwest of Salt Lake City in West Jordan, Utah, it is home of just over 2000 students. The men's varsity basketball team won the 2001 state championship, as well as the 2009 State championship against Lone Peak High School, the two-time defending champion. Utah Olympic Oval

Jordan Valley is a TRAX (light rail) light rail station with an island platform in West Jordan, Utah, United States. The station opened 7 August 2011 as part of the Red Line and is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). It is the closest station to the Bangerter Highway, and is the only TRAX station other than Draper with a parking structure (rather than a lot) for park-and-ride use. Pleasant Green Cemetery
