Hoberman Arch
The Hoberman Arch was the centerpiece of the Olympic Medals Plaza in downtown Salt Lake City during the 2002 Winter Olympics. The Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Cauldron Park is a plaza located at the south end of Rice-Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. During the 2002 Winter Olympics Rice-Eccles Stadium was known as Rice-Eccles Olympic Stadium and was the site of the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the XIX Olympic Winter Games. The plaza contains a 2002 Winter Olympic museum, the Olympic cauldron, and other memorabilia from the 2002 Olympic Games.
Sugar House Park
Sugar House Park, or Sugarhouse Park, is located between I-80, 2100 South, 1300 East, and 1700 East in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 110-acre park is at the heart of the Sugar House neighborhood and is the site of a fireworks show and concert every Independence Day of the United States (July 4th) and a popular sledding location in the winter. The park was the location of Sugar House Prison, Utah's first state prison, until 1951 when the current prison was opened in Draper, Utah.

Gilgal Sculpture Garden
The Gilgal Sculpture Garden is a small public city park, located at 749 East 500 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The park, which is filled with unusual symbolic statuary associated with Mormonism, notably to the Sphinx with Joseph Smith's head, was a labor of love designed and created by LDS businessman Thomas Battersby Child, Jr. (1888-1963) in his spare time. The park contains 12 original sculptures and over 70 stones engraved with scriptures, poems and literary texts.

Sugar House Prison (Utah)
Sugar House Prison, previously the Utah Territorial Penitentiary, was a prison in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah. The 180-acre prison housed more than 400 inmates. It was closed in 1951 due to encroaching housing development, and all of its inmates were moved to the new Utah State Prison in Draper. The site is now occupied by Sugar House Park and Highland High School.
Columbus Center
One of South Salt Lake's most notable and unique buildings is the Columbus School Building (aka the Columbus Center) which currently serves as a community center. Located at 2531 South 400 East, the Columbus School building is not only a community landmark, but a vital gathering place as well. The grounds around the building resemble a plaza or garden type area landscaped with pathways, benches, statues, and various plants and trees.
9th and 9th, Salt Lake City

Originally opened in 1927 as "Ute Stadium," it was the home of the Utah Utes football team. Renamed for Robert L. Rice in 1972, it was almost completely demolished after the 1997 season to make way for the Utes' current home, Rice–Eccles Stadium, which occupies the same physical footprint.
Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts
The Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts is operated by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. It is the permanent home of the State Folk Arts Collection since 1987 and over 200,000 visitors have experience its free programs. Highland High School (Utah)
Highland High School is a high school in Salt Lake City, in the U.S. state of Utah, that opened in 1956 and has a student body of 1,546. It is located at 2166 South 1700 East, next to Sugar House Park, and is part of the Salt Lake City School District. The current principal is Paul Schulte. Newsweek currently ranks it as the #575 high school in the country.
Foothill, Salt Lake City
Foothill in Salt Lake City, Utah is a relatively affluent and primarily residential neighborhood of Salt Lake City that lies at the base of the Wasatch Range and extends west to approximately 1500 East. Also sometimes referred to as "The East Bench", it is bordered on the north by the Federal Heights neighborhood and on the south by Interstate 80. This neighborhood becomes increasingly affluent moving from west to east.
Highland Park, Salt Lake City
