Rose Park is a neighborhood located in the northwest area of Salt Lake City, Utah and is among the most ethnically diverse areas in Utah. Its name comes from the area's original developer, who arranged part of the area's streets in the shape of several roses, with one of its main streets, American Beauty Drive, acting as a long rose stem. KNRS is a radio station licensed to Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Communications. The station obtained a construction permit from the FCC for a power increase to 50,000 watts day and 5,000 watts night. However the construction permit expired before the upgrade was built. KNRS's sister stations include KAAZ-FM; KZHT-FM ("97.1 ZHT"); KNRS-FM; KODJ; and KJMY.

The Depot
The Depot is a 1200 capacity, four-story venue located in downtown Salt Lake City that is part of the Union Pacific Train Station. It is a 21-and-older venue with a patio for smoking. Although The Depot mainly hosts concerts, the venue also is available for corporate parties and private events with 17,000 square feet of banquet space available.
Triad Center
The Triad Center is a complex of office buildings in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally planned to be a large development, containing several office and residential buildings (including the tallest buildings in Utah), the project was canceled after only two phases were completed. It currently houses LDS Business College, the BYU Salt Lake Center, offices of the Deseret News and the studios of KSL-TV and KSL Radio.
Utah State Fair
The Utah State Fair is held at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. The fairgrounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The fair takes place each year starting on the first Thursday after Labor Day and lasts for 11 days. In 2012 the Fair was September 6–16, 2012. Gates opened at 10 a.m. daily and admission was $10 per adult, less for children.
KPDR-LD
