Rose Park, Salt Lake City
Rose Park is a neighborhood located in the northwest area of Salt Lake City, Utah and is among the most ethnically diverse areas in Utah. Its name comes from the area's original developer, who arranged part of the area's streets in the shape of several roses, with one of its main streets, American Beauty Drive, acting as a long rose stem. This area's original roof shingles were red or green and its street names all feature rose varieties.
Gateway District
The Gateway District is a large open air retail, residential and office complex in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The complex is centered around the historic Union Pacific Depot in downtown Salt Lake City. It currently contains over 105 stores and restaurants. The Gateway began as part of Salt Lake City's urban redevelopment project, and the first phase was completed prior to the 2002 Winter Olympics that were held in Utah. The first phase included 2.1 million sq. ft.
Clark Planetarium

Glendale, Salt Lake City
Glendale is a neighborhood on the West side of Salt Lake City, Utah. Glendale is situated South of the Rose Park, Fair Park, and Poplar Grove neighborhoods. The neighborhood was originally developed as Glendale Gardens which is where Glendale Middle School derives its name. Mountain View Elementary (which is situated next to Glendale Middle School) was originally named Glendale Elementary. Summum Pyramid
The Summum Pyramid is a sanctuary and temple used by the organization of Summum for instruction in the Summum philosophy. It is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was built during 1977 to 1979. The arena seats 19,911 for basketball, has 56 luxury suites, and 668 club seats. Opened in 1991, the arena was known as the Delta Center, until EnergySolutions purchased the naming rights, after Delta Air Lines declined to renew their 15 year contact, effective November 20, 2006.

The Depot
The Depot is a 1200 capacity, four-story venue located in downtown Salt Lake City that is part of the Union Pacific Train Station. It is a 21-and-older venue with a patio for smoking. Although The Depot mainly hosts concerts, the venue also is available for corporate parties and private events with 17,000 square feet of banquet space available.
Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
The Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center is a three-venue arts complex in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah that is home to modern dance companies, the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, Plan-B Theatre Company, and the Sundance Film Festival. It is part of the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts.
Triad Center
The Triad Center is a complex of office buildings in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally planned to be a large development, containing several office and residential buildings (including the tallest buildings in Utah), the project was canceled after only two phases were completed. It currently houses LDS Business College, the BYU Salt Lake Center, offices of the Deseret News and the studios of KSL-TV and KSL Radio.

Utah State Fair
The Utah State Fair is held at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. The fairgrounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The fair takes place each year starting on the first Thursday after Labor Day and lasts for 11 days. In 2012 the Fair was September 6–16, 2012. Gates opened at 10 a.m. daily and admission was $10 per adult, less for children.
