Laredo Energy Arena

The Laredo Energy Arena (known as the Laredo Entertainment Center until March 17, 2010) is a multi-purpose arena, in Laredo, Texas. It is home to the Laredo Bucks ice hockey team and the Laredo Rattlesnakes indoor football team. The Laredo Energy Arena can seat up to 8,065 fans, at an ice hockey game, 8,067, at an arena football game, 10,000, at a basketball game, and 11,360, at concerts. It is located to Bob Bullock Loop 20, on the northeastern side of Laredo.

United Independent School District

United Independent School District is a school district headquartered in Laredo, Texas, United States. UISD serves portions of the city of Laredo, the cities of El Cenizo and Rio Bravo, and several unincorporated areas in Webb County. The unincorporated areas include Botines, La Presa, Larga Vista, Ranchitos Las Lomas, and Ranchos Penitas West. Mall del Norte is a super regional shopping mall in Laredo, Texas. The mall opened in 1977 and has since been renovated in 1991, 1993 (expansion), 2007, and 2012. It is located along Interstate 35 in the city's rapidly growing retail hub of town. Nye, Texas

Nye was a town two miles north of Laredo in southwestern Webb County, Texas, United States. It was named after Thomas C. Nye, a local planter who introduced Bermuda onions into the community in 1898. The area has been eventually absorbed by neighboring Laredo.

Laredo Air Force Base

First activated in 1942 as Laredo Army Airfield, the facility instructed recruits in aerial gunnery during World War II, then as a United States Air Force base in the 1950s and 1960s, performed Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) as part of Air Training Command.

Uni-Trade Stadium

The Uni-Trade Stadium is a baseball ballpark in Laredo, Texas. The project consists of building a new multiuse Baseball field near the Laredo Energy Arena (LEA).
