The University of Texas at Arlington (also referred to as UT Arlington or UTA) is a public research university located in Arlington, Texas, United States. The campus is situated southwest of downtown Arlington, and is located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The university was founded in 1895 and served primarily a military academy during the early 20th century.

Arlington Independent School District or AISD is a school district based in Arlington, Texas. The district covers the majority of Arlington and portions of Grand Prairie. The district serves the entirety of the small towns of Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens. A portion of Fort Worth lies within the district; it only contains a wastewater plant. No Fort Worth residents are zoned to Arlington ISD schools.

Maverick Stadium
Maverick Stadium is a 15,000-seat multi-purpose stadium on the western edge of University of Texas at Arlington campus. It hosts the university's track and field teams as well as many community events, and is also leased to the Arlington Independent School District for use by its high school football teams. It previously served as UTA's home football stadium until the university dropped its program.
MetroCenter (Arlington, Texas)
The MetroCenter is located in Arlington, Texas and was opened in January 2005. It was built entirely with private funds and seats 1,750. It was designed by Beck Group Architecture and constructed by Manhattan Construction Company. Acoustic Dimensions designed the high end audio and video system and Ford Audio and Video handled the installation. Phase two of its construction will take the total seating capacity to 3,200.
