Pantego is a town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,394 at the 2010 census. It is entirely surrounded by the cities of Arlington and Dalworthington Gardens. It is in the middle of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, a metropolitan area spanning several counties.
Arlington Independent School District
Arlington Independent School District or AISD is a school district based in Arlington, Texas. The district covers the majority of Arlington and portions of Grand Prairie. The district serves the entirety of the small towns of Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens. A portion of Fort Worth lies within the district; it only contains a wastewater plant. No Fort Worth residents are zoned to Arlington ISD schools.
Pylon Field
Pylon Field was a small airport located in southwest Arlington, Texas, USA. The 1,800-foot runway was originally built in 1960. The airport was closed in 1975. The former location of the airport runway is now the parking lot for the baseball fields at Martin High School in Arlington.
MetroCenter (Arlington, Texas)
The MetroCenter is located in Arlington, Texas and was opened in January 2005. It was built entirely with private funds and seats 1,750. It was designed by Beck Group Architecture and constructed by Manhattan Construction Company. Acoustic Dimensions designed the high end audio and video system and Ford Audio and Video handled the installation. Phase two of its construction will take the total seating capacity to 3,200.
The Parks at Arlington
The Parks at Arlington is a shopping mall that opened in 1988 at 3811 South Cooper Street and Interstate 20 in South Arlington, Texas between Fort Worth and Dallas. It went through a renovation in 1996. In 2002, it was expanded and an ice rink was added. It is one of the leading shopping destination in the Metroplex. Dallas News calls it an "An Overcrowded entertainment destination" It is the second largest mall in Tarrant County behind its upscale competitor North East Mall.

Clay Gould Ballpark is the home of the UTA Mavericks located in Arlington, Texas, USA. The stadium has a capacity of 1,600. Formerly named Allan Saxe Stadium, it is located at the intersection of W. Park Row Drive and Fielder Road.
Battle of Village Creek
The Battle of Village Creek occurred on May 24, 1841 on the embankments of Village Creek. The battle, which evolved into a running gunfight between the Republic of Texas militia and the Village Creek tribes, was contributed to the increased indian raids on Anglo settlements in the Red River counties.
