Southern Methodist University
Southern Methodist University (SMU) is a private research university in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1911 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, SMU operates satellite campuses in Plano, Texas and Taos, New Mexico. SMU is owned by the South Central Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church. 7,000 of the University's 12,000 students are undergraduates.

Park Lane (DART station)
Park Lane Station is a DART Light Rail Red Line station located in north Dallas, Texas at Park Lane and Greenville Avenue, just east of Central Expressway. It opened in January 1997 and served as the northern terminus of the Red Line until 2002. But that station, which was at ground level, was demolished for the extension to North Dallas and Richardson, and as such, a new elevated station was completed on July 1, 2002. It serves NorthPark Center, nearby shops and a Doubletree Hotel.
Mockingbird (DART station)
Mockingbird is a DART Light Rail station located in north Dallas, Texas at Mockingbird Lane and North Central Expressway. It opened in January 1997 and is a station on the Blue, Red and Orange Lines, serving the Mockingbird Station residential and retail development and nearby Southern Methodist University. Mockingbird Station has the highest density population within three miles of any mass transit station in Texas.
White Rock (DART station)
White Rock Station is a DART Light Rail station located in east Dallas, Texas at East Northwest Highway near West Lawther Drive. It opened on 24 September 2001 and is a station on the Blue Line, serving nearby White Rock Lake and its residences and businesses. This was a short term northeastern terminus of the Blue Line until it extended to LBJ/Skillman in May 2002.
Gerald J. Ford Stadium
Gerald J. Ford Stadium is a stadium in University Park, Texas, one of the two "Park Cities" that form an enclave within the city limits of Dallas. The stadium is used primarily for football, and it is home to the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Mustangs and is frequently used for local high school football games. It was the last on-campus stadium in NCAA Division I-A (now Division I FBS) to open in the 20th century.

Ownby Stadium
Ownby Stadium was a stadium in the University Park suburb of Dallas, Texas. It was the home of the Southern Methodist University Mustang football team. In late 1998, the stadium was demolished to build Gerald J. Ford Stadium at the site. Named for Jordon Ownby, the stadium was built at the south end of the campus.

Westcott Field
Westcott Field is a stadium in University Park, Texas on the campus of Southern Methodist University. The 4,000-seat stadium is home to SMU men's and women's soccer. SMU has some fame in the American soccer community as being the only major university in Texas to field a men's soccer team, though the game is tremendously popular at the youth level statewide and the Texas youth soccer scene is heralded nationwide. Westcott field was used as a training facility during the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
George W. Bush Presidential Center
The George W. Bush Presidential Center, set to open May 1, 2013, is a complex that will include former President George W. Bush's presidential library and museum, the George W. Bush Policy Institute, and the offices of the George W. Bush Foundation. The facility will occupy roughly 25 acres on the campus of Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. Groundbreaking took place on November 16, 2010. The construction of the center has been projected to cost $250 million.

Airline, Texas
The Airline Improvement District is a management district in unincorporated Harris County, Texas. During the 79th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature, Texas House of Representatives member Kevin Bailey authored Bill #1458, which authorized the creation of the Airline Improvement District. The bill, sponsored by Texas Senate member Mario Gallegos, was signed into law. The district was created on June 17, 2005.
