Hamilton Place (shopping mall)
Hamilton Place is an enclosed, two-story shopping mall in Chattanooga, Tennessee just off I-75. It was the largest shopping mall in the state of Tennessee from 1987 to 1998; at this time, it was superseded in size by Knoxville's West Town Mall. Hamilton Place is considered a sister property to Northgate Mall, located in nearby Hixson. The original anchors were Belk, Parisian, Loveman's, Regal Cinemas 9, and Sears.
Jones Observatory
Clarence T. Jones Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. It is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee (USA). The building was completed in 1936, and opened in 1938. Construction of the observatory and telescope were funded by a Public Works Administration grant for the students of Chattanooga's public schools at the urging of prominent local astronomer Clarence T. Jones.
Northgate Mall (Chattanooga)

Chickamauga Lake
Chickamauga Lake is a United States reservoir along the Tennessee River created when the Chickamauga Dam, as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority, was completed in 1940. The lake stretches from Watts Bar Dam at mile 529.9 (853 km) to Chickamauga Dam at mile 471.0 (758 km) making the lake 58.9 miles (94.8 km) long. It borders Rhea County, Meigs County, and Hamilton County with 810 miles (1,303 km) of shoreline and two bridges crossing it at State Highway 60 and Highway 30.
Chickamauga Dam
Chickamauga Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. The dam is owned and operated by the Tennessee Valley Authority, which built the dam in the late 1930s as part of a New Deal era initiative to improve navigation and bring flood control and economic development to the Tennessee Valley. The dam impounds the 36,240-acre Chickamauga Lake and feeds into Nickajack Lake.
Reflection Riding Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Reflection Riding Arboretum and Botanical Garden (300 acres) is a nonprofit arboretum, botanical garden, and historical site located at 400 Garden Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee. The riding was created by John and Margaret Chambliss, and incorporated in 1956 to a vision laid out in the 1940s. It is dedicated to the study and conservation of native plant life. The riding contains over 1,000 species of flora, with over 150 tree species.

Tenbridge
Tenbridge is a vertical-lift railroad bridge over the Tennessee River. It has a main span of 310 feet, and is one of the longest vertical lift spans in the United States. The original span was a swing span with a center pivot that was originally built in ca. 1879/1880. It was replaced by a vertical lift span in 1917, but the lift towers and machinery were not installed until 1920.
Volkswagen Chattanooga Assembly Plant
Volkswagen Chattanooga Assembly Plant (or Chattanooga Operations LLC) is an automobile assembly plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that began production in April 2011, was formally inaugurated in May 2011 and is expected to employ approximately 2,000 once fully operational. The plant has a projected annual production of 150,000 cars beginning with a version of the 2012 Passat, tailored to the US market.
Brainerd Mission
The Brainerd Mission was a Christian mission to the Cherokee in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was established by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in 1817 and named after David Brainerd. It ended with the Cherokee removal in 1838. People such as Ainsworth Blunt and Cephas Washburn worked at this mission. The Brainerd Mission Cemetery is one of the oldest in Hamilton County and consists of 60 graves, most of which are of missionary workers among the Cherokee.
