Baylor School

Baylor School, commonly called Baylor, is a private, coeducational prep school on the outskirts of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1893, the school currently sits atop a 680 acres campus and enrolls students in grades 6-12, including boarding students in grades 9-12. These students are served by Baylor's 148 members of faculty, over two-thirds of whom hold advanced degrees, including nearly 40 adults who live on campus and serve as dorm parents.

Second Battle of Chattanooga

The Second Battle of Chattanooga was a battle in the American Civil War, beginning on August 21, 1863, as the opening battle in the Chickamauga Campaign. The larger and more famous battles were the Battles for Chattanooga (generally referred to as the Battle of Chattanooga) in November 1863.

WDOD (AM)

WDOD (1310 AM; "Fox Sports Radio 1310") was a radio station serving the Chattanooga area. The station was owned by Bahakel Communications out of Charlotte, North Carolina, and last offered a sports talk format. WDOD was the oldest radio station in Chattanooga, having gone on the air on April 13, 1925.

WDEF-FM is a radio station serving the Chattanooga area, broadcasting on 92.3 FM. The station operates an adult contemporary (AC) format and is branded as "Sunny 92.3 FM". From Thanksgiving to Christmas Day, it broadcasts an all-Christmas music format. The station can be heard throughout southern east Tennessee, northwest Georgia, and most of northeast Alabama. The FM is the sister station of WDEF AM 1370, and was the sister station of WDEF-TV 12.
