Davidson County, Tennessee
Davidson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2010 census, the population was 626,681. Its county seat is Nashville. In 1963, the City of Nashville and the Davidson County government merged, so the county government is now known as the "Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County," or "Metro Nashville" for short. Davidson County has the largest population in the 13-county Nashville-Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Fisk University
Fisk University is a historically black university founded in 1866 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The 40-acre campus is a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1930, Fisk was the first African-American institution to gain accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Accreditations for specialized programs quickly followed. In 1952, Fisk was the first predominantly black college to earn a Phi Beta Kappa charter.

Bicentennial Mall State Park
Bicentennial Mall State Park is an urban state park located in the shadow of the State Capitol in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The 19 acre (77,000 m²) park, designed to complement the Tennessee Capitol Building, gives visitors a taste of Tennessee's history and natural wonder. It opened June 1, 1996 to serve as a lasting monument to Tennessee's Bicentennial celebration.
Sulphur Dell
Sulphur Dell is a former minor league baseball park in Nashville, Tennessee. It was used for baseball for nearly 100 years, from 1870 to 1963. From 1901 to 1963, it was the home of the Nashville Vols minor league team. The ballpark, demolished in 1969, was located in the block bounded by present day Jackson Street, Fourth Avenue, Harrison Street, and Fifth Avenue.

Signature Tower
Signature Tower was a projected mixed-use skyscraper which had been approved for construction in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Groundbreaking was originally scheduled for 2007. When completed, it was to contain condominiums, office space, a Kimpton-brand Hotel Palomar Nashville, and retail space. The building was originally planned to have 70 stories and stand 1,030 feet in height.
Downtown Presbyterian Church, Nashville
The Downtown Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee, affiliated with Presbyterian Church (USA), was formerly known as First Presbyterian Church. The church is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Church Street. As Old First Presbyterian Church it is designated a National Historic Landmark. The congregation began worshiping at this site in 1816. The first structure burned down in 1832, and a second sanctuary was constructed the same year.
Country Music Marathon
The Country Music Marathon is located in Nashville, TN. The route begins in Centennial Park and continues along many of Nashville's sights including music row, Belmont University, the State Capitol Building, the Cumberland River, Shelby Park, Shelby Bottoms Greenway, and ends outside LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans. Many bands and high school cheerleaders entertain runners and walkers and friends, families, and neighbors join in cheering everyone on.
Hale Stadium
Hale Stadium is a 10,000-seat outdoor stadium located on the campus of Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. Built in 1953 and nicknamed "The Hole", the stadium hosted TSU Tigers football games until 1999, when home games were moved to what is now LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans. Allowing the Tigers to play their home games at the new venue was a requirement for the funding the new facility received from the State of Tennessee.
Tennessee Foreign Language Institute
The Tennessee Foreign Language Institute (TFLI) is an agency of the State of Tennessee that provides language classes and interpretation and translation services. TFLI was created by the Tennessee General Assembly in 1986 to promote the learning and teaching of foreign languages. It is the only state-government-supported organization of its kind.
First American Cave
The First American Cave is an archaeological site in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. The site was initially recorded in 1971 during construction of the First American National Bank building at 315 Deaderick Street. Excavations within the cave yielded the remains of a saber-tooth tiger, which in 1997 became the inspiration for the mascot of the Nashville Predators hockey team.

Tennessee Theatre (Nashville)
The Tennessee Theatre was a 2,028 seat, single screen, Streamline Moderne movie palace at 535 Church Street, in Nashville, Tennessee completed in 1952. It was built with the designs of architect Joseph W. Holman in the shell of the 11-story, Art Deco Warner building that was completed in 1932, and the entire structure was demolished in the 1980s. The Cumberland Apartment highrise now sits on the site.
