Mayo is a census-designated place (CDP) in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 1,592 at the 2010 census.
Lake Blalock
Lake Blalock (formally, the H. Taylor Blalock Reservoir) is a reservoir in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, located on the Pacolet River about five miles north of Spartanburg. After its creation was authorized in 1976 by the Commissioners of Spartanburg Water System, Blalock Dam was constructed in 1983. The existing earthen dam is approximately 700 ft . long and 70 ft high.

Chesnee High School is a high school in Chesnee, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, USA. CHS serves grades 9-12, of these grades it houses over 600 students.
