It is included in the Anderson, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. Civic Center of Anderson
The Civic Center of Anderson is part of a larger entertainment complex in Anderson, South Carolina, that also features baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, an amphitheatre, a playground, and conference center. Together, the facility is known as the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center. Constructed in 1991, the Civic Center itself is used for multiple indoor sports, shows, and concerts, and was host to the 1991-92 Big South Conference men's basketball tournaments.
Anderson Memorial Stadium
Anderson Memorial Stadium is a stadium in Anderson, South Carolina. It is primarily used for baseball and was the home of Anderson Braves from 1980 to 1984, and the Anderson Joes in 2007. It is currently the home of Anderson University's baseball team. The ballpark has a capacity of 2,500 people and opened in 1970.
