Wickford, Rhode Island
Wickford is a small village in the town of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States, which is named after Wickford in Essex, England. Wickford is located on the west side of Narragansett Bay, just about a 20 minute drive across two bridges from Newport, Rhode Island. The village is built around one of the most well-protected natural harbors on the eastern seaboard, and features one of the largest collections of 18th century dwellings to be found anywhere in the northeast.

Wickford Junction is a commuter rail station in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States on the Northeast Corridor, extending the Providence/Stoughton Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail south from Providence. The new station, which opened on April 23, 2012, has a large park and ride garage and was part of a $336 million project that included the new T. F. Green Airport station.
Davisville, Rhode Island
Davisville, Rhode Island was the former home of the U.S. Navy SeaBees. It was located at Quonset Point on Narragansett Bay, an area now included in the town of North Kingstown. The Navy acquired the property in 1939 and built Naval Air Station Quonset Point. In 1942, adjoining properties were developed for training Seabees, including the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) at Davisville.

It is now a historic site between Seventh and Tenth streets in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The camp, also known as the Davisville Construction Battalion Center, was built in 1942 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The vast training camp built at Davisville, Rhode Island in 1942 provided more than 100,000 men of the U.S.
