Providence Station
Providence Station is a railroad station in Providence, Rhode Island and is served by Amtrak and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). The station has four tracks for passenger service, with a fifth track passing through for Providence and Worcester Railroad freight trains. It is the 17th busiest Amtrak station in the country, after BWI. Providence Station has full-length high-level platforms and is wheelchair accessible.

The Bank of America Building is the tallest building in the city of Providence and the state of Rhode Island, and the 28th tallest in New England. Waterplace Park is an urban park situated along the Woonasquatucket River in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. Finished in 1994, Waterplace Park is connected to 3/4 mile of cobblestone-paved pedestrian walkways along the waterfront known as Riverwalk. Venice-styled Pedestrian bridges cross the river. Most of Riverwalk is below street level and automotive traffic.

At 100 m, it became the fourth-tallest building in the city and the state on on 15 February 2007, when the nearby slightly taller The Residences Providence topped out. Tony Lepore
Tony Lepore (born October 17, 1947), aka the Dancing Cop, is a retired American police officer who entertains on the streets of Providence, Rhode Island during the December holiday season while directing traffic using a dancing style. Lepore began dancing in the street in 1984 as a way to relieve boredome. After he retired, city leaders asked that he return during the holiday season in 1992 as a means of attracting people to the downtown area of Providence.

Providence Performing Arts Center
The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is a multi-use theatre located at 220 Weybosset Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The building was a Loew's State Movie Palace and opened in 1928. PPAC contains over 3000 seats and hosts touring Broadway shows, concerts, plays, films, and a variety of performers. The theatre was almost torn down in the late 1970s. But it survived and, beginning in 1999 was extensively remodeled and largely restored to its original 1928 opulence.
