Pat's King of Steaks
Pat's King of Steaks (also known as Pat's Steaks) is a Philadelphia restaurant specializing in cheesesteaks, and located at the intersection of South 9th Street, Wharton Street and East Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia, directly across the street from rival Geno's Steaks. It was founded in 1930 by the Olivieri brothers, who are credited with the creation of the Philly Cheesesteak.

Geno's Steaks is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania restaurant specializing in cheesesteaks, founded in 1966 by Joey Vento (1939–2011). Geno's is located in South Philadelphia at the intersection of 9th Street and Passyunk Avenue, directly across the street from rival Pat's King of Steaks, which claims to have invented the steak sandwich in 1933. Tasker–Morris (SEPTA station)
Tasker-Morris is a rapid transit passenger rail station on SEPTA's Broad Street Line. It is located at 1600 South Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and serves only local trains. The station is named for the nearby Tasker Street to the north and Morris Street to the south. In between the two streets is a customer service office for the Philadelphia Gas Works. The song "Tasker-Morris Station" by The Menzingers is about the station.
Lombard Street Riot
The Lombard Street Riot, sometimes called the Abolition Riots was a three-day race riot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1842. The riot was the last in a 13-year period marked by frequent racial attacks in the city. It started on Lombard Street, between Fifth and Eighth streets.

By other descriptions, the neighborhood runs from 8th to 13th Streets (east to west) and Wolf to Tasker Streets (south to north).

Philadelphia's Magic Gardens
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is a non-profit organization, folk art environment, and gallery space on South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To date, it is the largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. The Magic Gardens spans three city lots, and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth. The mosaics are made up of everything from kitchen tiles to bike wheels, Latin-American art to china plates. The space is open for public view.

St. Peter's School is an coeducational, independent day school, serving students in Preschool through Eighth Grade. Founded in 1834 it is located in the Society Hill neighborhood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for children ages 3–14. For the 2012-13 academic year, St. Peter’s School enrolled 208 students in grades Preschool through Eighth and had 48 faculty members for a student-teacher ratio of 5:1. On July 1, 2012, Mr. Shawn Kelly became the new headmaster at St. Peter’s School.
