Taylor, Pennsylvania
Taylor is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States, four miles (six km) southwest of Scranton on the Lackawanna River. It was founded in 1790 by Cornelius Atherton. Silk manufacturing and coal mining were once practiced in the borough. Most of Taylor is over abandoned mines. In 1900, 4,215 people lived in Taylor; in 1910, 9,060; and in 1940, 9,002 people resided in the borough. The population at the 2010 census was 6,263.
PNC Field
PNC Field, formerly Lackawanna County Stadium (1989–2006), is a 10,380-seat minor league baseball stadium located in Moosic, Pennsylvania. It is the home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the AAA affiliate of the New York Yankees. Lackawanna County sold the naming rights to PNC Bank on February 1, 2007, and the stadium became known as PNC Field.

Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Ann
The Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Ann is a Roman Catholic basilica located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The first temporary chapel on this site, founded by the Passionist order as a monastery church, was erected in 1902; the present building was dedicated on April 2, 1929, and on August 29, 1996 was named a basilica by Pope John Paul II. The basilica is the site of an annual solemn novena in honor of St. Ann, which draws thousands of pilgrims every year.

The Shoppes at Montage is a shopping center in Moosic, Pennsylvania. It opened on March 29, 2007. It is the first lifestyle shopping center in the area. Unlike other local shopping centers, it focuses on mid to high-end retailers and seeks to attract patrons from an area much larger than the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.
Riverside Junior/Senior High School (Taylor, Pennsylvania)
Riverside Junior/Senior High School is a public school located in Taylor, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Scranton. It is part of the Riverside School District. The school serves the communities of Taylor and Moosic, Pennsylvania and has a student population of around 600-700. The existing building was originally constructed in 1972. Renovations began in 2002 to update the structure as well as create more classroom space and create a new auxiliary gym at an estimated cost of $22,000,000.
West Scranton High School
West Scranton High School, is a community-based school in the "West Side" neighborhood of Scranton, Pennsylvania opened to the public in 1935, first as a junior high facility and later as a high school. One of the oldest schools in the area, it has about 32 clubs and 17 sports. It hosts grades 9 through 12. Rose Sember is the school's current principal, the first female principal in the school's history. The school colors are royal blue and white and the school's mascot is the Invader.
