American College Arboretum
The American College Arboretum (35 acres) is an arboretum located on the campus of The American College (Bryn Mawr, PA), 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum began in 1959 when the college started preserving trees, and was formally established as an arboretum in 1994. Today the arboretum contains about 600 labeled trees of many species, as well as a small valley with a pond.

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is a pluralistic Jewish Day School for grades 6 to 12 located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. It was founded in Center City Philadelphia in 1946 as Akiba Hebrew Academy and changed its name in 2007. Barrack Hebrew Academy's enrollment was 318 students during the 2007-2008 school year. On October 25, 2007, Dr. Steven Michael Brown was named to replace retiring headmaster Rabbi Phillip Field. Dr. Brown began his new position on July 1, 2008.
Haverford State Hospital
The Haverford State Hospital was an abandoned mental hospital outside of Philadelphia. Its extensive former grounds occupy the northern sections of Delaware County west of the city of Philadelphia, in Haverford Township. The Hospital was constructed in 1964 as a state of the art hospital. Its patients enjoyed a bowling alley, private rooms, recreational activities, jobs within the hospital, some even being able to leave regularly.
Agnes Irwin School
The Agnes Irwin School is an all-girls, non-sectarian college preparatory day school for students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The School has been a leader in girls' education since 1869, when it was founded by Agnes Irwin in Philadelphia. Irwin, a great-great-granddaughter of Benjamin Franklin, later became the first dean of Radcliffe College. In 1933, the campus moved to Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and then to its present location in Rosemont in 1961. Tuition is $20,400 to $29,300.

The 27-acre campus it occupied for most of its existence was located at the intersection of Ithan Avenue and Clyde Road in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, and is now the site of Hill Top Preparatory School.
