Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
Hummelstown is a borough in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,360 in the 2000 census. It is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area. Originally named Fredrickstown, the village was established in 1762. The borough's mayor is Bradley Miller. Hummelstown is a Tree City and is in District 15 of the Pennsylvania Senate.

William (Amos) Wilson
William Wilson (ca. 1762 – October 1821) became a figure in the folklore of southeastern and south-central Pennsylvania in the late 18th century and early 19th century. He is often referred to as The Pennsylvania Hermit. His sister Elizabeth had been condemned for the murder of her children, although many believed her to be innocent of those charges. A pardon for Elizabeth was granted by the state and entrusted to William, but he was unable to deliver it in time to stop the execution.

Indian Echo Caverns
Indian Echo Caverns is a show cave in Derry Township near Hummelstown, Pennsylvania in the United States. The limestone caves are open for the public to visit via guided tour. The entrance to the caverns used by modern visitors is located in a bluff along the Swatara Creek. A second entrance was sealed for security purposes when the caverns were commercialized in the late 1920s.
