Hersheypark Arena
Hersheypark Arena (originally Hershey Sports Arena) is a multi-purpose indoor arena, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The arena has a seating capacity, for hockey, of 7,286 people and in excess of 8,000, including standing room. Built in 1936, it was originally known as the Hershey Sports Arena. Its roof was the largest concrete shell in the world at that time. It was home to the Hershey Bears, of the AHL, who moved to the Giant Center in 2002, but still use it as their practice facility.
Great Bear (roller coaster)
Great Bear is a roller coaster located at Hersheypark, Hershey, Pennsylvania. It was built by Bolliger & Mabillard during the winter of 1997 and opened for the 1998 season. It is located in the Minetown section of the park, uphill from SooperDooperLooper, and across from the Kissing Tower.
Comet (Hersheypark)
The Comet is a wooden roller coaster at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Hollow section of Hersheypark, next to Skyrush. Built in 1946 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters (PTC) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the coaster features a double out and back track layout. When built it was jointly owned by Hershey Park and PTC.
Storm Runner
Storm Runner is an Intamin-built steel launched roller coaster at Hersheypark. It is located in the Pioneer Frontier section of the park, right across from Sidewinder and above the Trailblazer. It was constructed in 2004 and was the third Intamin Accelerator Coaster. It reaches a height of 150 ft (46 m) and catapults riders from 0 to 72 mph (116 km/h) in 2 seconds. It features a top hat and three inversions, a dual loading station and a magnetic braking system.
SooperDooperLooper
The SooperDooperLooper is a ride at Hersheypark, and the first looping coaster on the East Coast. It was designed as a terrain coaster by Werner Stengel, and built by Anton Schwarzkopf.
Sidewinder (Hersheypark)
Sidewinder is a steel roller coaster located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Pioneer Frontier section of the park, right across from Storm Runner. While the coaster itself is a standard Vekoma Boomerang, this installation is notable because it was the first Vekoma Boomarang to use Vekoma trains (previous Boomerangs used Arrow trains).
Roller Soaker
Roller Soaker was a suspended roller coaster at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It was manufactured by Setpoint USA, and was the first interactive ride built in the park. It was located in the Boardwalk at Hersheypark, behind Tidal Force. It was the second roller coaster of this type to be built after Flying Super Saturator was built at Carowinds in 2000.
Trailblazer (roller coaster)
Trailblazer is a family roller coaster at Hersheypark amusement park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Pioneer Frontier section of Hersheypark, just below Storm Runner. The ride is notable for being the second-oldest operating coaster in the park, after the Comet, and for its family-friendly height requirement of 36 inches and above with an adult.
Coal Cracker
Coal Cracker is a classic hydroflume ride located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The ride was installed by Arrow Dynamics in 1973, making it the oldest water ride at Hersheypark still in daily operation. It has a unique layout, due to the terrain features of this part of the park. Riders are seated in 12-foot boats for the three and a half minute ride along a water channel over 2,000-foot long.
Hershey Theatre
Hershey Theatre is a 1904-seat theater in downtown Hershey, Pennsylvania. The theater owes its existence to chocolate magnate and philanthropist Milton S. Hershey. Hershey Theatre was opened in September, 1933, as part of Hershey's Great Building Campaign of the Depression.
Lucy's Cafe
Lucy's Cafe was an Italian restaurant located in Hershey, Pennsylvania that was family owned and operated for more than 75 years. The restaurant's meat balls were a home-made recipe that were popular throughout Pennsylvania, and were at one time sold at Hershey Bears hockey games.
Skyrush
Skyrush is Intamin's prototype Wing Coaster with winged seating at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It opened to the general public on May 26, 2012. Skyrush is Hersheypark's 12th roller coaster, and its third coaster made by Intamin. Skyrush features a 212-foot lift (measured to the creek floor), with a cable lift that brings the train up at 17-mile-per-hour . Skyrush has yellow track and light blue support columns. Skyrush's trains are the first of their type in the world.
