Conodoguinet Creek
Conodoguinet Creek is a 104-mile-long tributary of the Susquehanna River in south central Pennsylvania in the United States. The name is Native American, and means "A Long Way with Many Bends". Conodoguinet Creek joins the Susquehanna River upstream of Harrisburg. The water divide between Conodoguinet Creek and Conococheague Creek is sometimes used as the boundary between the Hagerstown Valley and the Cumberland Valley. It flows past many mills, including Maclay's Mill.
George N. Wade Memorial Bridge
The George N. Wade Memorial Bridge, also known as the North Bridge, carries Interstate 81 and the Capital Beltway across the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Bridge construction began in the late 1960s and was completed in the early 1970s. The bridge is 5,188 feet long and varies in width from 109 feet to 230 feet . It carries six lanes of traffic and has two collector road and five ramp connections.
Pennsylvania National Fire Museum
The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum is a museum devoted to fire fighter heritage in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. The museum has an outstanding collection of artifacts from the hand-drawn equipment, extensive collection of vintage fire apparatus, artifacts, pictures and information about the history of fire fighting in Pennsylvania and throughout the United States. The museum is housed in the former 1899 Victorian firehouse Reily Hose Company No. 10, of the city of Harrisburg.
Pennsylvania Governor's Residence
The Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion is the official residence of the Governor of Pennsylvania and his family, in the Uptown neighborhood of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was built from 1966 to 1968 and designed by George M. Ewing, owner of an architectural firm in Philadelphia. The Mansion is home to two Steinway grand pianos used for concerts and to entertain dinner guests. Every year the Mansion is opened for special holiday season tours.
McCormick Island
McCormick Island is a 100-acre island, located in the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It's one of the larger islands that makes up the Sheets Island Archipelago (3,675 acres) in the Susquehanna River. Other islands surrounding are Sheets Island, and Governor’s Mansion Island. It is directly south of the I-81 bridge, and can be seen from many different places in Harrisburg. It also is relatively close to Wade Island, another popular stopover for birds in migration.
American MusicFest
The American MusicFest is a music festival that takes place Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Fourth of July weekend every year. It is the state's largest Independence Day weekend music festival. Festivities take place along Riverfront Park and City Island and consist of street concerts, food and craft vendors, amusement rides and a large fireworks display.
Asylum Run
Asylum Run is a 4.2-mile-long tributary of Paxton Creek in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania in the United States. Asylum Run joins Paxton Creek at the north-easternmost border of Harrisburg at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. It is a tributary with flashy flows. This means the water levels can vary greatly with storm events, due to rapid runoff upstream from massive amounts of impervious surfaces in Colonial Park, Penbrook, and adjacent areas.
Enola Yard
Enola Yard is a large rail yard located in East Pennsboro Township, Pennsylvania, along the western shore of the Susquehanna River at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was the world's largest freight yard through 1956. Wade Island
Wade Island is located in the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Itself a part of Sheets Island Archipelago, the small island is home to Pennsylvania's large nesting colony of herons and egrets. In May 2002, the annual survey of the waterbird colony on Wade Island in the Susquehanna River near Harrisburg was conducted. It is Pennsylvania's sole population of nesting great egrets, which is why this species is listed as endangered.

Hardscrabble (Harrisburg)
Hardscrabble is a small section of Midtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is bounded by the Susquehanna River to the west, Reily Street to the north, 3rd street to the east and Verbeke Street to the south. Zembo Shrine Building

Holocaust Memorial for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
The Holocaust Memorial for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is a Holocaust memorial at Front and Sayford Streets along Riverfront Park, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was conceived by a committee of Holocaust survivors in 1992 representing the Jewish Community Center of Harrisburg. In light of publicity given to the U.S. Holocaust Museum, a group of survivors that had lived in the Harrisburg area pressed for a local memorial.
Kesher Israel Congregation (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)
