WIOO, known as "Country Gold FM & AM", WIOO - AM is a 1000-watt daytime radio station licensed to Carlisle, Pennsylvania. It broadcasts an omnidirectional signal on 1000 kHz & which is duplicated on FM 97.9 MHz with full-time service. The AM signed on the air in 1965. FM service was added in the summer of 2009. The call letters stand for the station's former long-time slogan, "W-100," referring to its position on the AM dial. WIOO played contemporary music for most of its history.

Tipton Station was a Gettysburg Battlefield trolley stop of the Gettysburg Electric Railway for passenger access to Crawford's Glen to the north, Devil's Den (west), and Tipton Park (east). The station was established during the 1894 construction of the end of the trolley line and was near the Devil's Den trolley siding, south of the trolley's Warren Avenue crossing, and northeast of the Plum Run trolley bridge.
