Phoenixville is a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States, 28 miles northwest of Philadelphia, at the junction of French Creek with the Schuylkill River. The population is 16,440 as of the 2010 Census.
Fitzwater Station
Fitzwater Station was a stop on the anti-slavery Underground Railroad. Located in Port Providence, Pennsylvania, United States, it is now a restaurant and bar. "The Fitz" overlooks the Schuylkill Canal. The building is named for Abel Fitzwater, a notable early 19th century local and owner of the former farmland where the Fitzwater Station and Port Providence sit.
Phoenix Iron Works
The Phoenix Iron Works, located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, was a manufacturer of iron and related products during the 19th century and early 20th century. Phoenix Iron Company was a major producer of cannons for the Union Army during the American Civil War. The company also produced the Phoenix column, an advance in construction material.

The Colonial Theatre is located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania at 227 Bridge Street. Built in 1903 as a vaudeville house, the "Colonial Opera House" brought professional shows and live entertainment to Phoenixville for the first time. The Colonial Theatre is owned and operated by the Association for the Colonial Theatre (ACT), a nonprofit corporation. ACT is committed to the full restoration of the Colonial as a cultural arts center.
Mont Clare Bridge
The Mont Clare Bridge (also Phoenixville – Mont Clare Bridge) is a crossing of the Schuylkill River between Mont Clare and Phoenixville in Pennsylvania, USA. The bridge was also referred to as the Intercounty Bridge, as it connects Montgomery and Chester counties. The bridge abuts a shorter county bridge across the Schuylkill Canal and towpath on the Mont Clare side to complete the crossing. The bridges carry Bridge Street, a bike lane and a sidewalk.
Port Providence, Pennsylvania
Port Providence is an unincorporated village along the Schuylkill River in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. Originally known as Jacobs, then Lumberville, the village is located on one of the two remaining watered stretches of the Schuylkill Canal. The village was notable as having one of the few inns on the Canal between Norristown and Pottstown. Fitzwater Station, a historic tavern, is located there on the canal.

Phoenixville Area High School is a senior high school located on 1200 Gay St, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. It is a member of the Phoenixville Area School District and teaches students from grades nine through twelve. There are currently 964 members of the student body and the principal is Dr. Craig Parkinson (2013). The school's mascot is the Phantom, who has been the mascot since the 1960s. The Phantoms colors are purple and white.
Mont Clare Station
Mont Clare Station was a station on the Pennsylvania Rail Road's Schuylkill Branch line, in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania. The line opened in 1884 and the station closed between 1955 and 1958.
