Tulsa Zoo

The Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum is a 84-acre zoo and living museum located in Tulsa, Oklahoma USA. The Tulsa Zoo is owned by by the City of Tulsa, but since 2010 has been privately managed by Tulsa Zoo Management Inc. The zoo is located in Mohawk Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the United States. The zoo has nearly 2,500 animals representing 436 species. The Tulsa Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Association of Museums.

Tulsa Community College

Tulsa Community College, formerly known as Tulsa Junior College, was founded in 1970 to serve Tulsa, Oklahoma and the surrounding community. It is the largest two-year college in Oklahoma and serves approximately 30,000 students per semester in credit and continuing education classes. TCC consists of four campuses and a conference center situated throughout the Tulsa metropolitan area with an annual budget of approximately $112 million.

Cyrus Avery

Cyrus Stevens Avery (1871–1963) was known as the "Father of Route 66". He created the route while a member of the federal board appointed to create the Federal Highway System, then pushed for the establishment of the U.S. Highway 66 Association to pave and promote the highway.

Will Rogers High School

Will Rogers High School, located on 3909 E. 5th Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was built by Tulsa Public Schools in 1939 using WPA workers and designed by Joseph R. Koberling, Jr. and Leon B. Senter. It was named for the humorist Will Rogers, who died in 1935 along with Wiley Post in a plane crash. The school has approximately 1,000 students as of 2008, and more than 39,000 alumni.

Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum (TASM) is an aerospace museum located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. It is located in the northwest corner of the Tulsa International Airport property. Visitors to the museum can explore 19,000 square feet of exhibits highlighting Tulsa's aviation history. Historic exhibits, hands-on activities, and vintage aircraft are featured. A full-dome planetarium, added in 2006, offers a variety of educational and entertaining shows throughout the year.

Dove Science Academy

Dove Science Academy is a college-preparatory charter school system in Oklahoma, USA. The Dove schools are founded, organized, and operated by the non-profit Sky Foundation.
