Enid, Oklahoma
Enid (ē'nĭd) is a city in Garfield County, Oklahoma, United States. In 2010, the population was 49,379, making it the ninth largest city in Oklahoma. It is the county seat of Garfield County. Enid was founded during the opening of the Cherokee Outlet in the Land Run of 1893, and is named after Enid, a character in Alfred, Lord Tennyson's Idylls of the King. In 1991, the Oklahoma state legislature designated Enid the "Purple Martin Capital of Oklahoma.

Enid High School (EHS) is a public tertiary school in Enid, Oklahoma operated by the Enid Public Schools school district. With a student body of about 1,700 in grades 9-12, Enid High School has about a 65 percent matriculation rate. Some graduates continue their education in-state at University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, at one of the many other schools in Oklahoma, or in recent years West Point, Princeton University, Trinity University (Texas), and Yale University.
Mark Price Arena
The Mark Price Arena was a 2,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Enid, Oklahoma located in Convention Hall, named after basketball player Mark Price who played for Georgia Tech and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition to hosting concerts and high school sports, the arena was home to the Oklahoma Storm, a basketball team in the USBL. Convention Hall is currently undergoing renovations and expected to reopen on November 18, 2012 as part of Veteran's Day festivities.

Waverley Historic District (Enid, Oklahoma)
The Waverley Historic District is located in Enid, Oklahoma, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) since 2006. It consists of four Waverley additions. The William and Luther Braden farm was the first parcel of land to be platted by the Waverley Development Company in May 1902. Subsequent additions were platted in 1905, 1906, and 1907. The District has 275 buildings built between 1895 and 1935.

The library began as a one room library sponsored by the Enid Study Club in 1899. In 1905, the city of Enid acquired the library, and in 1908 received a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation to build a Carnegie library. Enid Event Center
The Enid Event Center is a two-story, 4,000 seat arena currently under construction in Enid, Oklahoma. The center will be located between the Cherokee Strip Conference Center and Convention Hall in downtown Enid. The building was designed by Convergence Design and constructed by Key Construction as part of the Enid Renaissance project, a 24 million dollar project which includes the renovation of Convention Hall and the addition of 1,100 additional parking spaces in the downtown area.
