Claymont High School
Claymont High School is a public high school in Uhrichsville, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Claymont City School district. Students are nicknamed Mustangs. The Principal is Rob Clarke and the Vice Principal is Scott Golec. The Guidance Counselors are Robert Johnson (9th-10th) and Pamela Schram (11th-12th). The Athletic Director/Dean of Students is Eric Seibert.
Dohrman Tract
Dohrman Tract or Dohrman’s Grant was a land tract in eastern Ohio granted by Congress to Arnold Henry Dohrman (1749–1813), who helped the American cause in the Revolutionary War. At the beginning of the war, Dohrman, of the Netherlands, was a wealthy merchant in Lisbon, Portugal. He supplied the United States with clothing and war material, and fed and looked after American seamen who the British had captured and released to his custody.
