Summit County, Ohio
Summit County is an urban county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 541,781, which is a decrease of 0.2% from 542,899 in 2000. Its county seat is Akron. It was named "Summit County" because the highest elevation on the Ohio and Erie Canal is located in the county. Summit County is part of the Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Cuyahoga Falls is a city in Summit County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 49,652. It is currently the second largest city in Summit County. It is a suburb of Akron and Cleveland and part of the Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Cleveland-Akron-Elyria Combined Statistical Area. Actually older than Akron, the city was founded in 1812 by William Wetmore and was originally named Manchester.
University of Akron
The University of Akron is a coeducational public research university located in Akron, Ohio, United States. The university is part of the University System of Ohio. It was founded in 1870 as a small college affiliated with the Universalist Church. In 1913 ownership was transferred to the City of Akron. In 1967 the university became a state institution. Akron Art Museum
The Akron Art Museum is an art museum in Akron, Ohio, USA. The museum first opened its doors on February 1, 1922, as the Akron Art Institute. It was located in two borrowed rooms in the basement of the public library. The Institute offered classes in arts appreciation which were organized by Edwin Coupland Shaw and his wife Jennifer Bond Shaw. It has grown considerably since that time.
Spicertown
Spicertown is a neighborhood within Akron, Ohio located in the area around Spicer and East Exchange Streets. Originally settled by Major Minor Spicer and his family in the years 1810-1811, Spicertown's population increased steadily over the following 25 years due to an influx of German immigrants. Due to the efforts of community leaders, Spicertown managed to escape being included within the Village of Akron during its incorporation in 1836.
Cathedral of Tomorrow
The Cathedral of Tomorrow was built in 1958 as home to Rex Humbard's ministry. The Cathedral, a round building with the sanctuary in the middle and classrooms and offices around the edges, located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, seats 5,400. It has a domed roof with a large illuminated cross that hangs from the ceiling. The cross weighs 32 tons (to give the domed roof greater architectural strength during wind storms) and is illuminated with 4,700 lights which can change colors.
James A. Rhodes Arena
James A. Rhodes Arena, commonly nicknamed "The JAR," is a basketball arena in Akron, Ohio on the campus of the University of Akron named for former Ohio governor Jim Rhodes. The arena opened in 1983 and is home to the Akron Zips men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. The new facility was six years in the making.

All-America Bridge
The All-America Bridge in Akron, Ohio is a viaduct carrying Ohio State Route 261 over the Little Cuyahoga River that splits into a one-way pair. Constructed 1981–1982, the bridge was named in recognition of Akron's past All-America City Awards and is also locally known as the Y-Bridge. The bridge is 134 feet tall in its highest location. The bridge's predecessor, the 1922 North Hill Viaduct, was closed in 1977 after a collapse killed three.

Canal Park is a baseball stadium located in Akron, Ohio, United States, that is the home of the Akron Aeros of the Eastern League. The team is a double-A minor-league affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The stadium was designed by Populous, the same architectural firm that designed Jacobs Field, the Indians' stadium that opened three years earlier. The venue is named for Lee R. Jackson, former chairman of the university's board of directors. Built in 1967, the field has a capacity of 1,500 spectators.

The Key Building (formerly known as the Second National Bank Building) is a high-rise building in Akron, Ohio. Constructed in 1910, the structure rises to a height of 150 feet. The building is an example of the neo-classical style of architecture.
