Moraine, Ohio
Moraine is a city in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. The population was 6,307 at the 2010 census. The city is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Montgomery county. Moraine, as part of the Dayton area, is situated within the Miami Valley region of Ohio, just north of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The city is also home to the outdoor waterpark Splash Moraine.

The Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark (189 acres) is an arboretum and park located at 6733 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio. It is open daily without charge. Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark is one of many Dayton area metroparks within the Five Rivers Metroparks system. The arboretum was established in 1962 when James M. Cox, Jr. , and family donated their property to a nonprofit foundation, which continues to help fund the arboretum.

Opened in 1951, originally as a Frigidaire appliance plant, the plant produced trucks for GM. From 2001-2008 it produced the GMT360 SUVs. 1969 PGA Championship
The 1969 PGA Championship was the 51st PGA Championship, played August 14−17 at NCR Country Club (South Course) in Kettering, Ohio, a suburb south of Dayton. Raymond Floyd won the first of his four major titles, one stroke ahead of Gary Player. During the tournament's third round, demonstrators tried to disrupt the play of Player and Jack Nicklaus. Ice was thrown in Player's face and one spectator yelled while Nicklaus prepared to putt. Security was stepped up for the final round on Sunday.
Moraine Country Club
Moraine Country Club is a country club located in Kettering, Ohio, in the Dayton Metropolitan Area. The development of the Moraine Country Club started at a meeting in 1927, when Colonel Deeds, Charles Kettering, Frederick Rike, Governor James Cox, Robert Patterson, John Haswell & William Keyes decided to turn a portion of "Moraine Farm" into a golf course. Alec Campbell designed the course and in 1930 the club was incorporated.
