Campbell, Ohio
Campbell /ˈkæməl/ is a city in Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. The population was 8,235 at the 2010 census. Campbell is served by a branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. It is part of the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, OH-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area. Campbell was formerly known as the village of East Youngstown, and this designation still appears on real estate deeds for the city. In 1922, the city was renamed for local industrialist James A.

As of fall 2010, there were 15,194 students and a student-faculty ratio of 19:1. The fall 2010 enrollment figure is the highest since 1990, when the number of students on campus was 15,454. Records show that 11,803 of the students are undergraduates. Beyond its current student body, YSU claims more than 84,000 alumni.

Lansingville
Lansingville is a traditional neighborhood in Youngstown, Ohio. Located on the city's south side, the area was named for John Lansing. The neighborhood was dominated by Slovak Americans, the majority of whom were Roman Catholic, during much of the 20th century. The Lansingville neighborhood developed rapidly with the expansion of the city's south side in the late 19th century and early 20th century.
Stambaugh Stadium
Arnold D. Stambaugh Stadium, usually shortened to just Stambaugh Stadium, is the home of football and soccer teams at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. Built in 1982, Stambaugh has seen the Penguins football team rise to become a power in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision football. Stambaugh is also known by fans as the Ice Castle. When it opened, Stambaugh had one large set of stands on the west side.
Beeghly Center
The Beeghly Physical Education Center, or simply Beeghly Center, is a 6,300-seat multi-purpose arena in Youngstown, Ohio. The arena, built at a cost of $5.5 million and named for local businessman Leon A. Beeghly, opened on December 2, 1972. It is home to the Youngstown State University Penguins basketball, volleyball, and swimming teams. The first event at the arena was a basketball game against the Ohio University Bobcats, which ended in a 68-59 Youngstown State victory.
Covelli Centre
The Covelli Centre (formerly the Chevrolet Centre and during construction the Youngstown Convocation Center) is a 5,900-seat multi-purpose arena in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. It was built in 2005, thanks in a large part to a $26 million HUD redevelopment grant secured in 2000 by Congressman James A. Traficant, Jr. It is home to the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League.

Ohio State Penitentiary
The Ohio State Penitentiary is a 502-inmate capacity supermax Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction prison in Youngstown, Ohio. Throughout the last two centuries, there have been two institutions with the name Ohio Penitentiary or Ohio State Penitentiary; the first prison was in Columbus, Ohio. Level 5 inmates occupy cells that are 6½ × 11 feet and include a sink, toilet, desk, stool, and a slab of concrete with a thin mattress.

Lansdowne Airport
Lansdowne Airport is a small, local airport on the East Side of Youngstown, Ohio, US near the Pennsylvania border. Lansdowne Airport is a privately owned airport, located in an area known as the "Sharon Line" to locals, due to its proximity to a defunct train line that once ran from Youngstown to Sharon, right across the state line through the Steel Valleys. Lansdowne Airport was the first airport in Youngstown and was the first in the region to see airmail service.

Campbell Memorial High School
Campbell Memorial High School is a public high school in Campbell, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Campbell City Schools district. The original Campbell Memorial High School building was built in 1919. In 2003 a newer, more modern school was built and the football stadium was renovated and updated. A track field was also added. These updates were due to the declining condition of the prior schools.
WNCD
WNCD is a commercial radio station serving Youngstown, Ohio, owned by Clear Channel and broadcasting a mainstream rock format at 93.3 MHz. Its signal covers Youngstown, Warren, and New Castle, PA, and at times even reaches Erie and New Kensington, Pennsylvania. However, as one approaches Meadville and points east, a station from Jamestown, New York starts to interfere with WNCD's signal. WNCD goes by the nickname "93.3 The Wolf".

Gateway Yard
The Gateway Yard of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad, located in Youngstown, Ohio, opened in the fall of 1957 and remained in operation until CSX took over the P&LE and closed the yard in 1993. Gateway served as a place to classify and sort freight cars as well as an interchange with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and the New York Central Railroad. Most of the cars that entered the yard were destined for Youngstown's steel mills.
