Maumee, Ohio
Maumee is a city in Lucas County, Ohio, United States. It is a suburb of Toledo along the Maumee River. The population was 14,286 at the 2010 census. Maumee was also declared an All-America City by the National Civic League in June 2006.
Siege of Fort Meigs
The Siege of Fort Meigs took place during the War of 1812, in northwestern Ohio. A small British army with support from Indians attempted to capture the recently-constructed fort to forestall an American offensive against Detroit, which the British had captured the previous year. An American sortie and relief attempt failed with heavy casualties, but the British failed to capture the fort and were forced to raise the siege.
Stranahan Theater
The Stranahan Theater is a 2,424 seat concert hall located in Toledo, Ohio, USA. It was built in 1969 and was formerly called Masonic Auditorium. The theater's foyer is 3,000 square feet (300 m²) and the adjacent Great Hall features 10,000 square feet (1,000 m²) of meeting space. There is parking for 1,200 cars at the theater. Fulfilling its primary usage as a concert venue, the Stranahan Theater is used for approximately 170 theater events a year.

Ned Skeldon Stadium
Ned Skeldon Stadium, originally opened as Lucas County Stadium, is a stadium in Maumee, Ohio. It was primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball team. It opened for minor league ball in 1965, and closed for the minors in 2002 when the Mud Hens moved to Fifth Third Field. It held 10,197 people. The stadium replaced Swayne Field, which had been demolished after the previous version of the Mud Hens had folded ten years earlier.
Maumee High School (Ohio)
Maumee High School is a public high school in Maumee, Ohio, southwest of Toledo. It is the only high school in the Maumee City Schools district. Their mascot and sports teams are known as the "Maumee Panthers". They are members of the Northern Lakes League and their rivals are the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets. Maumee is known for their beautiful building, state of the art Performing Arts Center, and their fabulous art program.

The Lucas County Recreation Center is a sports and entertainment complex located in Maumee, Ohio. LineDrive Sportz & Great Sports are the new owners of the rec center. They are a private company who lease the property from Lucas County. Without their contributions, the property would have been left abandoned, or even torn down.

Maumee City School District is a public school district in Northwest Ohio. The school district serves students who live in the city of Maumee in Lucas County. The superintendent is Dr. Gregory Smith. It comprises the following schools: Fairfield Elementary — grades K-3 Fort Miami Elementary — grades K-3 Wayne Trail Elementary — grades 4-5 Gateway Middle School — grades 6-8 Maumee High School — grades 9-12
