Stranahan Theater
The Stranahan Theater is a 2,424 seat concert hall located in Toledo, Ohio, USA. It was built in 1969 and was formerly called Masonic Auditorium. The theater's foyer is 3,000 square feet (300 m²) and the adjacent Great Hall features 10,000 square feet (1,000 m²) of meeting space. There is parking for 1,200 cars at the theater. Fulfilling its primary usage as a concert venue, the Stranahan Theater is used for approximately 170 theater events a year.
Ned Skeldon Stadium
Ned Skeldon Stadium, originally opened as Lucas County Stadium, is a stadium in Maumee, Ohio. It was primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball team. It opened for minor league ball in 1965, and closed for the minors in 2002 when the Mud Hens moved to Fifth Third Field. It held 10,197 people. The stadium replaced Swayne Field, which had been demolished after the previous version of the Mud Hens had folded ten years earlier.

Maumee Valley Country Day School (or MVCDS, Maumee Valley or MV) is an independent and non-religious private school located in Toledo, Ohio. The school was founded in 1842 as an all-girls finishing school in Western New York and was moved to Toledo in 1884, where it became The Smead School for Girls. The school became coeducational and adopted its present location and name in the early 1930s.

They are a private company who lease the property from Lucas County. Without their contributions, the property would have been left abandoned, or even torn down.
1979 U.S. Open (golf)
The 1979 U.S. Open was the 79th U.S. Open. The golf tournament was held June 14–17, 1979, at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. Hale Irwin won his second U.S. Open title, two strokes ahead of former champions Jerry Pate and Gary Player. Hale Irwin, the 1974 U.S. Open champion, held a three-stroke lead over Tom Weiskopf going to the final round. Irwin did not play particularly well, recording bogeys at 11, 14, and 18, and a double-bogey at 17.
1957 U.S. Open (golf)
The 1957 U.S. Open was the 57th U.S. Open. The golf tournament was held June 12–15, 1957, at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. Dick Mayer defeated defending champion Cary Middlecoff in an 18-hole playoff to win his only major title. Amateur Billy Joe Patton owned the 36-hole lead, but fell back with consecutive 76s over the final two rounds to finish in 8th. The 54-hole lead was held by Jimmy Demaret, at 47 attempting to become the oldest U.S. Open champion.
