Lawrence County, Ohio
Lawrence County is a county located in the state of Ohio. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 62,450, which is an increase of 0.2% from 62,319 in 2000. Its county seat is Ironton and is named for James Lawrence, the naval officer famous for the line "do not give up the ship". Lawrence County is part of the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 287,702.
